Singer Lily Allen is facing a huge amount of backlash online after making an admission with regards to her pet dog.
Lily, who co-hosts the BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me? alongside best friend Miquita Oliver, is no stranger to making headlines with her revelations.
In recent months she announced on the podcast that she's started an OnlyFans for photographs of her feet, as well as admitting to sleeping with somebody Miquita liked when they were younger.

Fans were shellshocked when Miquita said: "There was a pop star in the early Noughties, I found out that he fancied me. I told Lily that I liked him."
Miquita continued: "Cue Lily, gets herself to a festival in Japan and seduces him. Seduced him with her wily ways."
Lily then admitted: "I flew to Japan to lock that one in".

But this time, it's nothing x-rated that has people covering their mouths in shock - it's to do with her pet.
Lily shared in a new Miss Me? episode, which was guest hosted by presenter Steve Jones, that she and her husband, Stranger Things' actor David Harbour, and were planning to adopt her dog.
This led her down memory lane and she opened up about having owned a dog once before.
The shocking admission was: "We actually did adopt a dog already, but then it ate my passport and so I took her back to the home."

She then goes on in an attempt to explain that it's because the dog ate documents.
Lily added: “She ate all three of our passports and they had our visas in. And I cannot tell you how much money it cost me to get everything replaced, because it was in Covid and so it was just an absolute logistical nightmare.
"And because the father of my children lives in England, I couldn’t take them back to see their dad for like four months, five months, because this f******g dog had eaten the passports.”

In another shock admission, Lily said: "I just couldn’t look at her. I was like, ‘you’ve ruined my life’.”
Perhaps sensing the backlash that would follow, Lily explained that her dog ate more than passports.
She said: "She was a very badly behaved dog and I really tried very hard with her, but it just didn’t work out and the passports were the straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak.”

Listeners are furious with the admission.
One person wrote on X: "Literally loved lily allen since I was like 9 what a shame this is just gross behaviour."
Another said: "You're the grownup. You secure your belongings. You do not simply return a dog as if it's shirt that doesn't fit. Shame on you."
A third added: "Why didn’t lily allen just…. Buy new passports? Cant get over this situation you know."
