Lily Allen has come under fire for purposefully sleeping with her friend's celebrity crush.
The 39-year-old singer songwriter opened up about her tryst on a recent episode of her BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me?.
The podcast, which she co-hosts with presenter and radio host Miquita Oliver, is billed as 'transatlantic catch-ups, discussing the highs and lows of their lives and the biggest cultural moments of the week'.

It's a great listen, with the two pals often bursting in raucous laughter when taking a trip down memory lane.
It's no stranger to shocking moments, with Lily revealing in an earlier episode that she had slept with a 'TV star' at a very young age.
She told Miquita: "I'm not going to say this person's name, but you know that TV star that I had sex with when I was very young.

"When I went to his hotel, he put on the Moby album. And I cannot, if it comes on I'm just like... it was that period of time and he thought it was so cool."
She continued: "I actually don't know when I lost my virginity, is that bad? It was between one of two people," before offering that it could have been an older guy she met on holiday, or someone she met in school.
Lily has always been frank when it comes to talking about sex, so it perhaps shouldn't have been too much of a surprise when she admitted to sleeping with her friend's celebrity crush.

Miquita began: "I’d like to tell a story about when Lily Allen sabotaged me.
"There was a pop star in the early Noughties, I found out that he fancied me. I told Lily that I liked him."
It turns out that Lily fancied him, too.
Miquita continued: "Cue Lily, gets herself to a festival in Japan and seduces him. Seduced him with her wily ways."

Lily then interjected: "I flew to Japan to lock that one in".
Miquita explained that it was the angriest she had ever been with Lily, asking her: "Did you think that you were sabotaging me in that act?"
Lily concluded: "I fancied him, so I was getting mine. By the way, I think pop stars are fair game, like, I don’t care."

Absolutely savage, and not something I reckon I could forgive - although Miquita has been a good sport about the whole thing.
"If I didn’t hate you so much for it, I would have applauded you. It was admirable," she mused.
