Macaulay Culkin's son had an incredibly iconic misconception about the famous Home Alone films.
With the big day now just a matter of weeks away, it's the perfect time to watch - for the millionth time - our favourite Christmas movies to really get into the holiday spirit.
And the Home Alone movies are undoubtedly up there as the best in the genre.
The beloved family comedy first warmed our hearts over 30 years ago back in the 90s, starring a baby-faced Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard and Catherine O'Hara.

As we all know by now, the first film's plot centres around eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Culkin) who is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France.
At first, he's happy to be in charge; but when thieves try to break into his home, he puts up a fight like no other.
However, according to Macaulay's toddler - he wasn't the one doing the fighting.

Speaking to E! News, Macaulay - who shares sons Dakota, three, and a two-year-old whose name has not yet been revealed with his fiancée Brenda Song - explained that his eldest sometimes mixes up his dad's shenanigans in the 1990 Crimbo cult classic with his own childhood memories.
"He thinks he's Kevin," Macaulay revealed
"I'm like, ‘Do you remember going down the stairs on the sled?' He's like, ‘Mmhmm, yep. Sure do.' I'm like, ‘Do you remember when he had yellow hair?' And he's like, 'Uh-huh, yep.'"
Little Dakota even told his dad he 'fought the burglars' himself, but it's clear Macaulay could only stand for so much fibbing.

"You're a lying liar who lies," he jokingly told his toddler, adding, "That was me!"
Macaulay starred in the blockbuster hit alongside his younger brother, Kieran, who recently revealed the honest reason why he won’t let his two kids watch the Home Alone films.
When discussing Home Alone with E! News this week, the Succession star - who shares daughter Kinsey, five, and son, Wilder, three, with wife Jazz Charlton - declared the film inappropriate for such young viewers, explaining: "There’s still some scary parts.

"For the three-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers'.
"That’s scary for a three-year-old."
He went on to admit, however, that he might allow his kids a look this time around.
"We think they might be ready for Home Alone this year,” he joked. "If not, next year."
