With the festive season officially just around the corner, Home Alone actor Kieran Culkin has decided to drop a series of blindsiding behind-the-scenes spoilers.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times this week, the Succession star and father-of-two broke the hearts of millions of festive film fans around the globe by sharing a staggering confession about what it was like to film.
For those who can't seem to recall Kieran's role in the Christmas cult classic, he played Fuller, the bed-wetting cousin of lead character Kevin McCallister - who, incidentally, was played by his real-life big brother Macaulay Culkin.

Still can't place him? Well, think back to the beginning of Home Alone, where the entire family are sat around the dinner table ahead of their trip to France.
During a very chaotic pizza dinner, Fuller - donning a pair of glasses and very 90s dungarees - is told to 'go easy on the Pepsi' given his rep as a bed wetter.
While it may have seemed like just a funny joke at the time, this character detail pretty much set up the plot for the entire film as Kevin was meant to share a bed with Fuller the night before the family all jetted off to the land of baguettes.

However, after getting told off, Kevin's mum sends him to bed.
Voicing his unhappiness with potentially sleeping next to a bed wetter, Kevin's mum - played by Schitt's Creek icon Catherine O'Hara - then instructs him to sleep in the attic.
And we all know what happened next...
Kieran previously opened up about what it was like filming for his first ever on-screen role, admitting he didn't actually know who was the star in the family comedy until he watched it on the big screen, despite it being his big bro.

Speaking to James Corden in 2020, he said: "There’s a part in the movie where there’s a kid who gets his head counted incorrectly and he goes, ‘Bye, bring me back something French!’ I thought the movie was about that kid.
"And it made sense when I saw it. I remember seeing it in the theatre at the premiere and I was dying laughing and I was like, 'Oh, that makes sense 'cause Mac was on set all the time.'"
And in yet another unexpected confession, Kieran has once again admitted to not having known what the film was actually about, even though he and his brother featured in it.

He told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday (3 Dec) he simply couldn't get his head around it, claiming: "I had no idea what that movie was about when I saw it, and I was in it.
"I was at the premiere, and I was dying laughing. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen. I had no idea what the movie was about."
