Margot Robbie has revealed why she feels ‘so lucky’ to be married to ‘normie’ husband Tom Ackerley, having shared heartwarming insight to their interview in a recent red carpet interview.
Robbie, 33, met her now-husband, also 33, on the set of 2014 romantic war drama Suite Française, a film that Ackerley served as third assistant director for.
Two years before tying the knot in 2016, the couple set up production company LuckyChap Entertainment - which is a name you may recognise after learning Robbie was one of the producers behind the wild ride that was Saltburn.

But while Robbie has gone from strength to strength recently - not only producing some of the past decade’s biggest films, but also taking on some seriously iconic roles (yes, we’re looking at you Barbie) - she’s clearly full of modesty after admitting she feels like the ‘lucky’ one in her relationship.
She previously admitted she actively chose not to date other film stars, telling Marie Claire a few years back: "I made a conscious decision not to date actors, but not because I hate actors.
“That's a nasty generalization to make, and that's not the case.

“People take such an interest in your love life when you have a profile that it puts a lot of stress on a relationship.
“So, two people with profiles, I figure it's just double the amount of scrutiny, and I'd like to avoid that at all costs."
And that seems to be a move that has paid off, having said she couldn’t be happier with her ‘normie’ husband.
Speaking to E! News on the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards earlier this week, she said: "I am so lucky.

"He likes being behind the camera. He's not fazed by any of this stuff."
Robbie continued: "He's just the best, it's so fun.
"I love the word 'normie,' yes, like all my friends, everyone's like, 'That's cool what you do but it's more fun just to hang out and talk about other stuff.' And you're like, 'I know'."

Later that evening, Barbie went on to win several of the 18 awards it was nominated for, including Best Comedy.
Robbie and filmmaker Greta Gerwig were called up on stage unexpectedly to make a speech after missing out on the opportunity earlier in the ceremony.
A flustered but happy Gerwig told the crowd: "Thank you so much for letting this happen! We were just very excited in our chairs, and it's very nice to be up here...
"I laughed so hard every day, I ruined almost every take, and it's because of our beautiful cast - Margot and Ryan [Gosling] and America [Ferrera] and everybody who got to be so brilliant as they are."
