Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow have taken to social media to address the feud rumours between them once and for all.
Earlier this week, people were absolutely convinced that Paltrow, 52, took somewhat of a swipe at the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex with many utterly convinced the Iron Man actress was somehow responding to Meghan's recipe clips following the release of her glossy new Netflix lifestyle series.
Paltrow shared an Instagram video set to the track 'This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)' by Natalie Cole, showing her in striped pyjamas sipping from a mug.

She then smiles and looks out of the window as the shot then pans to a beautiful sunrise.
The Hollywood A-lister then rustles up a plate of buttermilk biscuits, some rashers of bacon and two fried eggs.
After watching the video, many seemed to be under the impression that Paltrow was somehow taking the mickey out of Meghan as one social media user penned: "Gwyneth Paltrow making breakfast in her pyjamas and in her real kitchen all while playing the promo song for Meghan Markle’s show is [hand over face emoji]."

"#MeghanMarkle gets schooled in the most elegant way by @GwynethPaltrow who in less than 1 minute destroys her Netflix fake show!" piped up a second keyboard warrior. "No make up, no 80 crew, no special lighting, no ridiculous clothing. Heck! She doesn't even say a word with love, Gwyneth!"

A third hit out: "Meghan watching this wondering if it’s about her..."
Others, however, were far from falling into the Hollywood habit of pitting two women against one another with a fifth pointing out: "Gwyneth has posted videos of her cooking breakfasts every week for like 3 years, she is not shading Meghan.

"And she literally said in her interview, about Meghan, 'when there’s noise about certain women in the culture, I do have, always, a strong instinct to stand up for them.'"
Another agreed: "I think it’s a nod to her, not shade."
"Maybe it is a tribute to Meghan?" echoed a final social media user. "Copying the idea, of celebs cooking etc. I have to admit, this is a bloody well edited clip. Informative, funny, fresh & quick."
Since then, the pair have joined forces to put all the speculation to bed once and for all.
On Tuesday (25 March), Paltrow did a Q&A on Instagram with one question reading: "Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?"

"I genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever," Paltrow said into the camera before turning to her right and while the shot panned to - you guessed it - Meghan as she asked her: "Do you understand this?"
Meghan looked at Paltrow and shook her head while shrugging her shoulders as she took a bite of some food and giggled with the actress.
Well, that settles that then!
