Millie Bobby Brown addressed why she 'morphs' her voice after admitting people have a 'real problem' with how her accent changes.
Celebrities these days are here, there and everywhere - so it's no wonder they can sometimes switch between accents or just do a mixture of them all.
Millie Bobby Brown, 21, who grew in Bournemouth, has been accused of going 'in and out' of different accents, after she started dating Jake Bongiovi, who is from the US, in 2021.

Fans noted how the actress tends to switch between American and British, but she has now defended herself in a recent interview.

During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast, the star opened up about being around her boyfriend and his American family, and how that influences the way she speaks.
She noted that her accent change has been a 'huge thing' that people have commented about online.

The actress said: "I actually call it ‘The Accent Gate'."
She added: 'It’s so frustrating because that was everywhere for a second. Everyone was talking about my accent, and they had a real problem about it."
Brown reminded listeners that she married an American boy, notably rockstar Jon Bon Jovi's son, 22, which contributes to how she sounds.
She noted: "When I’m around his family, I immediately go into an American accent.

"But then I was just in England, and the second I hear my mum and dad’s accents, I go right back into it."

The star defended herself, as she questioned how she was supposed to be an actress and play different characters, but be trolled for sounding differently sometimes in real life.
She said: "You want me to be an actor and you want me to play these characters, but you expect me not to morph into people?

“What I hear, I do that.
"It’s all part of it," she concluded.
Brown and Bongiovi got married in May last year, when the actress was just 20 years old.
Speaking to Vanity Fair about their relationship, she said: "We talked about our political views, and what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we're looking for, the kind of careers we want.
