Molly-Mae hinted that ‘big change’ was coming for her and Tommy Fury weeks ago

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced their split earlier today in separate statements

Molly-Mae Hague had hinted that a ‘big change’ was on the horizon for her and Tommy Fury just weeks before she announced their shock split.

Molly-Mae took to Instagram to confirm that she and Tommy – with whom she shares daughter Bambi – had broken up.

"Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this,” she began.

"After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.

"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end.

"I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.”

Molly-Mae continued: "I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.

"You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.

"Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right.”

Meanwhile, Tommy also spoke out about the pair's shock split today in his own statement, writing on Instagram: "I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.

"The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.

"Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time."

Just a matter of weeks ago, Molly-Mae had been forced to shut down split speculation, telling fans that she and Tommy had a big announcement on the way.

Rumours had been rampant, with many followers convinced the two Love Island stars had parted ways after five years together – especially after Tommy admited he was in ‘no rush’ to tie the knot, despite getting engaged last summer.

Molly-Mae also added fuel to the fire when she uploaded several Instagram posts earlier this year without her engagement ring.

But back in June, she assured her followers that they had nothing to worry about.

Asked in another Instagram Q&A if she'd experienced any relationship turbulence recently, the influencer replied: "I think Bambi has made us closer. Any bickers we have are never actually about her! Parenting together, especially recently has been amazing."

She went on to open up about a 'big change' that would be entering the happy couple's life in the coming weeks.

Revealing the duo weren't planning on baby number two 'anytime soon' ('wedding first!’), Molly-Mae hinted the couple would probably end up tying the knot in 2025.

"I'm so happy about the idea of being at home a lot this summer, working and enjoying family time," she said.

"We also have a really big change happening for our family in July which is also super exciting and will take a lot of our time!!!"

As to what this change might have been at the time, Molly-Mae had previously spoken about moving out of her £4 million Cheshire mansion, which she bought two years ago.

A fan asked back in April if moving house was on the cards for the family and she responded: "One word... Potentially."
