Olivia Munn has offered fans another candid health insight following her cancer diagnosis.
Earlier this year, the 43-year-old announced to her Instagram followers that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer ten months prior.
Just days after doctors confirmed the disease was present in her body, she underwent a double mastectomy.

In a heartbreaking post, Olivia revealed she’d ‘only cried twice’ during the ordeal and that she credited Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi for ‘saving her life’.
“Dr. Aliabadi looked at factors like my age, familial breast cancer history, and the fact that I had my first child after the age of 30,” the X-Men star wrote.
“She discovered my lifetime risk was at 37 percent. Because of that score I was sent to get an MRI, which led to an ultrasound, which then led to a biopsy. The biopsy showed I had Luminal B cancer in both breasts.”

Following the initial reveal on March 13, the mum-of-one has shared another update.
Speaking to Vogue, Olivia announced she had opted to undergo further surgery as opposed to receiving Lupron or leuprolide injections.
This medication, which lowers oestrogen levels in the body, was reportedly causing the New Girl star to feel intense levels of ‘exhaustion’.
“I would wake up in the morning and almost immediately need to get back into bed,” she explained.

Meanwhile, the University of Oklahoma graduate announced that she has now had an oophorectomy and hysterectomy, as well as a full double mastectomy.
"I took out my uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries,” she admitted to the publication.
Olivia, who has been married to comedian John Mulaney, 41, since 2021, also opened up about how her son is dealing with her illness.

Speaking about the two-year-old, she said: “If you asked Malcolm, 'Where does Daddy work?' He'd run to his [dad's] desk.
“And if you asked him, 'Where does Mommy work?' He'd point to my bed.
“It was so sweet. But at the same time, it was breaking my heart because this is his image of me."
Despite being unable to become pregnant again, Olivia claims she and John still plan to extend their family.

The mum has been freezing her eggs since the age of 33 and claims that 'two healthy embryos' have been created following her latest round of IVF.
She also told the publication she is open to embarking on the surrogacy route as she no longer finds it a ‘scary prospect’.
Olivia added that since she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, she had become ‘grateful’ for various pregnancy options.
Following his wife’s gut-wrenching interview, John took to social media to pay tribute to the ‘incredible’ women.
Posting a picture of the Marvel actress with their child to his Instagram Stories, John wrote: “My son has the most incredible mommy and he knows it.
"It's the most loving and silliest relationship I've ever seen. Happy Mother's Day, Liv."
