Comedian Luenell has issued her apology to Pete Davidson who she left seriously 'uncomfortable' after 'touching him' during a live interview.
During an episode of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney last week (26 March), the 66-year-old comedian and actor brushed her hand up the 31-year-old Saturday Night Live star's leg during a blindfolded segment.
Elsewhere in the episode, Luenell also made a series of jabs about Davidson's dating history - something which people have been seriously obsessed with for quite a while now.

In fact, the celebrity status of his ex-partners has been such a thing that Davidson himself has even commented on it in an interview with W Magazine back in December where he revealed: "I don’t want to be this f*cking loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am. But people hate celebrities now."

The Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney episode sparked major backlash online with many rushing to social media to call out Luenell with one Instagram user writing: "I feel like Luenell was being way to pushy on Pete's personal life. When the blindfolds were on, she was touching his leg."
Another chimed: "This!! Made me so uncomfortable and sad for Pete."

Since then, Luenell has apologised to Davidson, telling PEOPLE: "I admit, I was tickling Pete’s leg during a segment of Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney; however, I did not mean to make Pete uncomfortable.
"I sincerely apologise. It was all done in jest."

"I hope Pete will forgive me, and I’m still willing to go out on a date with him if he so chooses," she continued. "And I promise I won’t touch him again unless he wants me to!"

A rep for Luenell also told the outlet: "By no means did my client, Luenell, want to make Mr. Davidson uncomfortable during their respective appearance on Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney. She was just being playful."
The leg touch came after Luenell took several swipes at Davidson over his dating partners.
"To me, you’re just an average guy," she said. "Regular guy, but you continuously pull all these bad b*tches, right? ... So, since I don’t get it, I want to know the mystique.
"Now, you’ve had Kim K," Luenell added, to which Davidson replied 'Oh god' and put his hands over his face.

"What I think - for the research and for women across America - I think that you should take me out," she added, prompting The King of Staten Island star to respond: "If that’s what it takes to stop this, yeah."

A source also told PEOPLE that: "Pete was fine answering any questions - there was no issue with Kim [Kardashian], and he loves Mulaney. Everyone on the show was having a great time with him until this happened."
However, it's clear that Davidson - nor anyone else on set - didn’t find Luenell’s decision to touch his leg to be a laughing matter.

"The whole set felt uncomfortable," the insider explained. "It was really inappropriate, but Mulaney stepped in and kept things going. Pete played along in the moment because he didn’t want to derail the live show."
The source continued: "People believe they can treat Pete differently and view him as fair game for these ‘jokes’ because of their perception of him, but it was just wrong and shows an unfortunate double standard.
"Fans clearly agreed and noticed it right away."
