Robert Pattinson had a pretty hilarious response to one fan who asked him why he’s 'stopped acting'.
The 38-year-old British actor has a pretty impressive filmography, starring in box-office smashes like Harry Potter, Tenet, and The Lighthouse, to name a few.
However, Pattinson first shot to fame way back in 2008 after starring beside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as vampire Edward Cullen in the beloved Twilight franchise, which boasted five films.
Now, Pattinson hasn't been shy in making his feelings very clear about the Twilight saga with a brutal comment about Stephenie Meyer - AKA the author behind the beloved book series.

In a throwback interview with E! Online, the Cosmopolis actor opened up about his initial thoughts when he first read the books and exactly what he thought was 'weird' about it.
"When I read it, I was convinced that Stephenie was convinced she was Bella," he claimed.
Robert continued: "It was like it was a book that wasn’t supposed to be published, like reading her - her sort of sexual fantasy."

"Especially when she says that it was based on a dream, and it’s like, 'Oh, I've had a dream about this really sexy guy' and she just writes this book about it," he carried on.
"Some things about Edward are so specific, I was just convinced that this woman is mad, she’s completely mad, and she’s in love with her own fictional creation."
The actor also admitted he sometimes felt 'uncomfortable' reading the material, adding: "I think a lot of people feel that it kind of is voyeuristic and creates this sick pleasure in a lot of ways.
"But then it introduces a lot of the action elements and it's very honest. It's really, really honest and that's kind of what's weird about it."

Regardless, it's clear he can't shift the fact he's seemingly most-known for Twilight thing, despite going on to star in a number of other films since.
Speaking to the New York Times, Pattinson recalled a hilarious interaction when he was visiting St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean with his partner, Suki Waterhouse, last New Year, when an immigration officer said to him: "Hey, you’re the guy from Twilight.
"Why’d you stop acting?"

"She just laughed," he recalled.
