Sarah Paulson once called out a major inconsistency after receiving 'horrifying' comments about her 81-year-old girlfriend, Holland Taylor.
The couple, who have been together since 2015, recently celebrated their successes at the Primetime Emmys on Sunday (15 September) where Paulson
admitted being happy to be able to 'hold her purse' during one of the biggest nights in TV.

She also addressed their living situation which she previously explained was the 'secret' to their long-lasting relationship.
"I have to clarify this because I said this," the 49-year-old told Entertainment Tonight. "We don't live together meaning we don't own a home together, but we're together more often than we are not."
Meanwhile, Taylor assured that their relationship thrives on 'a lot of variety' due to the fact they hang out at each other's homes so frequently.

"In one home or the other. Back and forth," Taylor added, while Paulson noted: "We live together, but don't live together."
Things haven't always been smooth sailing for the pair, however, as they've unfortunately been subject to cruel trolling online due to their age gap of more than 30 years.
Speaking to The Guardian a few years back in 2020, the American Horror Story star opened up about the discrepancies she felt when it came to people's opinions on her age gap relationship compared to other famous heterosexual couples.

"I don’t remember people going nuts about Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, in terms of their age difference," she explained.
Joining Douglas and Zeta-Jones (25 years) in the age-gap relationship department also include the likes of Al Pacino and Noor Alfalla (54 years), Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie (39 years), Alec and Hilaria Baldwin (26 years), Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson (23 years), Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone (23 years), Jason Statham and Rosie-Huntington-Whiteley (20 years), George and Amal Clooney (17 years) - list goes on.
Pointing to her 32-year age gap with Taylor as the 'predominant interest' in their relationship, Paulson wondered: "I think people are fascinated by it, because it’s so not typical.

"Except for if you look around at plenty of well-known or recognisable couples, when they’re heterosexual couples, it just runs rampant, and I don’t see anybody becoming obsessed by those relationships."
The Ocean's 8 star also explained the major 'consequence' of her and Taylor's relationship being 'such public knowledge'.
"Believe me, there have been plenty of young people on the internet who have tweeted horrifying things to me about it, and who don’t support it and who are so cruel," Paulson revealed.
"So it’s just a bit of a dance. But one I try to not let into my brain too often."
