Selena Gomez once explained the 'requirements' for dating after getting accused of being 'high maintenance'.
The 31-year-old 'Come & Get It' singer, who is now dating record producer Benny Blanco, 36, opened up last year about exactly what she looks for in a partner.
Selena also shared that she reckoned boys these days 'confuse standards with high maintenance' during the same interview - something I'm sure many may agree with. Have a look:
Last year, the Wizards of Waverly Place star revealed on SiriusXM radio a little more about her love life and footage from her appearance has since started making its rounds across social media once again.

Selena, who also recently appeared to react to her ex-boyfriend Justin and Hailey Bieber's pregnancy announcement, put out a song last year titled 'Single Soon'.
At the time of the interview, the track was unreleased and radio show host, Tony Fly and Symon, asked the pop-star about one specific lyric from it where she admits to being 'a little high maintenance'.
The line reads: "I know I'm a little high maintenance, but I'm worth a try.
"Might not give a reason why (oh well)."

When asked if she really did reckon she was 'high maintenance', Selena explained: "I think I have standards, and I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance.
"The line was really fun because I'm not ashamed to say. I actually require X, Y, and Z for you to be with me.
"So in a way, it was just meant to be for the attitude of the song, and that's genuinely what I feel."

Selena then revealed what these 'X, Y, and Z' conditions actually are, saying: "You gotta be cool, man.
"Not cool in the sense that people think you're cool. You just gotta be nice and like, please make me laugh and also just be good to my family and people around you."
Well, it seems Benny has done just that after recently revealing that marriage and kids are on the horizon ahead of their first anniversary.

Elsewhere in the interview, Selena continued, saying she was more than happy being single at the time: "I think everybody goes through the phase of, 'Oh, it'd be nice to like have someone', and I get that.
"But you know, I'm just enjoying where I'm at and I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life, I can just have them add on to me instead of being this insecure, you know, person that I normally used to be."
"It's basically my way of saying it's totally okay being on your own and it's fun."
