With the amount of die-hard fans there are in this world right now, you'd think we'd know everything there is to know about the chart-topping singer.
Apparently, however, some Taylor Swift fans have been left utterly blindsided this week to discover that the star is actually part of a pretty famous family.

Don't come for me though, Swifties. I'm not accusing your girl of being a nepo-baby, I promise.
It's not actually the 34-year-old's parents, Andrea and Scott, who've enjoyed a taste of the spotlight alongside the country-pop hitmaker, but her brother, Austin.
That's right, Taylor boasts a pretty famous sibling, who the most eagle-eyed of movie buffs might recognise for appearances in several silver screen hits.
After studying film at university in Indiana, the now 32-year-old little brother of the singer went on to appear in several local plays, before finally gaining an interning position at Lionsgate, where his responsibility was creating screeners for movies.

And in 2016, however, he landed his debut role in big-name blockbuster I.T - a psychological thriller, in which he starred alongside Pierce Brosnan, James Frecheville and Anna Friel.
In the years that followed, Austin showed up alongside Ben Affleck in crime drama Live by Night, in political drama Embeds and sitcom Still the King.
As well as his increasingly impressive CV, Austin Swift boasts an extremely close-knit relationship with his Grammy-award winning sister.

When Austin was making his way up in the acting ranks at university, Taylor famously skipped the MTV Europe Music Awards to attend one of his performances.
And back in 2020, the 'Cruel Summer' singer shared a heart-warming film photo of herself alongside her little brother to celebrate National Siblings Day. In the caption of the sweet snap, she described her brother as 'one of my best pals', and congratulated him for his latest role in the horror thriller We Summon the Darkness, adding that she was 'really proud of him'.
Austin, in turn, has made several gushy admissions about his adoration for his big sister.
When she made a ground-breaking political statement in 2018 by slamming a Republican candidate, he posted it, writing: "When you thought you couldn't respect your best friend any more than you already do. And then you do."

He also posted a tear-jerking snap of the pair as children on Instagram to celebrate the singer's 29th birthday.
"I have always had a best friend, a role model, and a caring, tireless, dedicated champion in my corner," he penned in the caption.
"You have pulled me out of fires and carried me up mountains. The gift of getting to witness you become the wonderful person you are today has been the greatest privilege and honor of my life."
