Taylor Swift fans think she just took swipe at Kanye West after he name drops her on latest album

The 'Bad Blood' singer and Travis Kelce were mentioned on the rapper's new album

Taylor Swift fans believe the star has clapped back at Kanye West after she and her boyfriend Travis Kelce were name-dropped on his new album, Vultures 2.

Hip-hop superduo ¥$, consisting of Kanye ‘Ye’ West, 47, and Ty Dolla Sign, 42, surprise released their second studio album last week (August 3).

The independently released LP features guest appearances from West’s daughters North, 11, and Chicago, six, alongside 41-year-old Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, 27.

One track from Vultures 2 that has set social media alight is ‘Lifestyle (Demo)’ as it seemingly references Taylor Swift singer and NFL tight end Travis Kelce, both 34.

The lyric in question reads: “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.”

While neither Swift nor Kelce have publicly acknowledged the name-drop, fans are convinced she’s already made a subtle dig at the father-four.

The day after West and Ty Dolla Sign—real name Tyrone William Griffin Jr.— dropped their album, the ‘Wildest Dreams’ hitmaker was performing her Eras Tour in Warsaw, Poland.

During her Red era, she appeared on stage to sing ‘22’ wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan: ‘I Bet You Think About Me’.

‘I Bet You Think About Me’ initially didn’t make the cut when Red was released in 2012 but was re-recorded and included as a vault track on 2021’s Red (Taylor’s Version).

And fans have long believed the track is about her supposed rivalry with the ‘Gold Digger’ rapper.

Now, they think it isn’t a coincidence that she wore the song title on a T-shirt on the day after Vultures 2 was released.

Flocking to social media to have their say, one user of X typed: “SHE PICKED THIS OUTFIT TO SHADE KANYE FOR RELEASING AN ALBUM ‘CAUSE HE’S ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT HER.”

A second wrote: “My honest opinion is that Kanye West is lost without Taylor Swift. Either he's in love with her or he's a Swiftie.”

“When I'm in a competition of who's more obsessed with Taylor Swift, but Kanye West is my opponent,” joked another.

Someone else commented: “She’s so funny for wearing the I bet you think about me shirt after Ka*ye name dropped her and Travis in his song an actual comedian.”

A fifth said: “It makes so much sense now.”

Swift and West’s 'rivalry' began back in 2009 when the former was accepting an award for Best Female Video at the MTV VMAs.

The ‘Stronger’ hitmaker then stormed the stage and stole the mic before claiming Beyoncé should’ve won the award over Swift - which West later apologised for.

Tyla has contacted representatives of Taylor Swift for further comment.
