Taylor Swift 'has set of rules’ for boyfriend Travis Kelce to maintain relationship

It seems as though Taylor Swift has laid down the law, after reportedly giving her boyfriend Travis Kelce a set of relationship 'rules' to follow.

We would be lying if we said every relationship didn't have its own quirks and rules - even if they're unwritten, we still tend to stick by them.

Maybe you always receive a good morning text, or date night is on a specific day.

Whatever it might be, let's not pretend that Taylor and Travis are the only ones who have a few relationship rules.

However, it seems as though they look slightly different when you have millions of eyes on your every move.

According to a source close to the couple who spoke to Life and Style, Taylor was very clear about what she expects from Travis.

They said: "They'll be doing lots of texting and calling, too, but Taylor likes to see Travis in real time."

They added: "She likes to know where he is and who he's with. It's not that she doesn't trust him, she just wants to feel connected."

As for his job, along with sport culture comes a hefty amount of drinking - especially when you win as much as the Kansas City Chiefs do.

"Taylor loves Travis' energy and spontaneity, but she doesn't want him wasted at the bar with pals," the source said.

"He can celebrate his wins in style with her and their friends."

The insider also revealed that Taylor didn't want either of them to be photographed too close to a person of the opposite sex, to avoid speculation.

And whilst in theory it makes sense, it's going to be a difficult one to implement in reality.

The source added: "Taylor has been in the business long enough to know what comes with being in the spotlight."

Unlike some of Taylor’s exes who have kept their relationship on the down-low, Travis has taken quite a different approach to dating the mega-star.

He is quite open about his love for the singer, to the point where Taylor has allegedly had to have a word about his willingness to be open.

The source continued: "Travis loves to show Taylor off.

"She appreciates it but she’s cautioning him from revealing too much about their private lives.

"No one thought they’d last this long, and Taylor and Travis are very happy to prove the doubters wrong."

And we, for one, are very happy to see them still together!
