Travis Kelce's dad has explained why he changed his sons' names without them ever realising.
When the Kansas City Chiefs player first started dating Taylor Swift, many fans were confused over how to pronounce his name.
Is it Kelce (like else) or Kelce (like Kel-see)?

But you'd be forgiven for having any confusion, especially considering both Travis and his brother Jason seem to pronounce their name differently.
Last year, the brothers were recording an episode of their podcast, New Heights, when they pronounced their surnames differently.
During the podcast, Travis said: "Who wants to hear these Kelce boys?"

But his pronunciation rhymed with ‘else’. Then, Jason reads out the label of a scented candle: “Smells Like Jason Kelce.”
But he pronounces it like Kel-see.
Adding to the confusion even more, when Travis hosted Saturday Night Live last year, they called him Kel-see.
Confused? Yeah, us too.

They even tried to get a definitive answer from their parents, Donna and Ed, who both had different opinions on how it’s pronounced.
Ed explained that although it's traditionally Kelce (else) he ended up changing it after getting fed up of people pronouncing it incorrectly.
Meanwhile, Donna admitted to thinking that it was Kelce (Kel-see) for ages.

"Why in the world did you change your name out of nowhere and now we are Kel-see?" Jason asked. "Why did we think that our name was Kel-see for the first 24 years... 27 years of my life, 25 of Trav's."
Ed said: “I never changed my name out of nowhere. I got tired of correcting people.
“That was the name that I went by at work (Kel-see). That was my work name. And everybody at work [said] that and so I just said, ‘Fine, screw this’.”
Travis explained that he’d ‘go by both’ names, while Jason disagreed, telling people: “Don’t call me Kels.”

Anyone else still not really sure what to call them? It's something fans have found confusing for a while, too.
Writing on Twitter, one person said: "Do y'all pronounce kelce as kelsee or kels?"
While another added: "How do you pronounce KELCE?"
And a third added: "I don't even know how to pronounce Kelce's name."
"It's gonna be Travis Swift, lmao," another fan joked.
And someone else said: “Okay but what is (Taylor’s Version) of preference? I’m going with that.”
Are you team Kelce or team Kel-see?
