New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel is engaged to her Property Brothers boyfriend Jonathan Scott after four years of dating.
The celebrity couple, who began dating in 2019, shared the happy news on Instagram with a selfie showing Zooey holding her stunning multi-diamond ring up to the camera.
Zooey, 43, told fans: "Forever starts now!!!"

The proposal from Jonathan happened over the weekend during the couple's trip to Scotland, with the property mogul getting Zooey's children Elsie and Charlie in to help with the big question.
Popping the question in Scotland was reportedly important for Jonathan who has Scottish heritage via his father, with fans pointing out that he and his brother Drew wore kilts for Drew's wedding in 2018.
Since announcing the news, the happy couple have been flooded with congratulation messages from friends, family and fans as they jumped into the comments on Instagram to join in the couple's happy news.

Actress Katherine McNamara commented: "CONGRATULATIONS", and was joined by comedy actress Mindy Kaling who gushed: "Omg!!! So amazing Zooey! Congrats!!"
Zooey's New Girl co-star Hannah Simone congratulated the pair as she wrote: "I LOVE YOU!! This is so wonderful".
Jonathan's twin brother Drew also joined in on the action, as he added: "This makes me so happy".

Friends actress Courtney Cox also congratulated the couple as she wrote: "That’s so exciting! Congratulations!!!"
Zooey and Jonathan first met in August 2019 when they both appeared on James Corden's series Carpool Karaoke.
The pair performed alongside their siblings with Jonathan joined by his identical twin brother Drew who he stars on Property Brothers with and Zooey joining alongside her sister Emily Deschanel, who stars in Bones.
After appearing on the show, the four pals reportedly got on so well they kept in touch. An insider told PEOPLE: "They were all talented and spontaneous and they had a really fun time shooting the show.

"They became friends after and then started talking as friends and realised there was more to it."
Just one month later Zooey and Jonathan were seen heading out on dates, with the couple later confirming their romance by attending Dancing With The Stars together and sharing a kiss as they sat in the front row.
Zooey has been married twice before, including to Death Cab for Cutie frontman, Ben Gibbard, from 2009 to 2012 and husband Jacob Pechenik from 2015 until 2019 with the pair finalising their divorce in 2020. She continues to coparent children Elsie and Charlie with Jacob.

Jonathan was previously married to a flight coordinator, Kelsy Ully, from 2007 to 2010 and until meeting Zooey he was in a long term relationship with a producer at his production company, Jacinta Kuznetsov, until their split in 2018.
