While the idea of taking a tumble and falling over in public is something that most people dread, Madonna appears to be taking it in her stride... again.
During a performance in Seattle on Sunday (18 February), the 65-year-old 'Queen of Pop' suffered an embarrassing blunder, when she hit the deck following a failed stunt with a back-up dancer.
This isn't the first time that we've witnessed 'Madge' topple over, however.

As those who tuned in to the 2015 Brit Awards will remember, the 'Like a Prayer' hitmaker was subjected to whiplash after a stunt.
At the time, Madonna was seen walking up a staircase in the middle of the stage while belting out the lyrics to 'Living For Love', when her cape was yanked off.
While the cape was supposed to simply disappear in a dazzling trick, it was later discovered that the accessory had been tied around her neck too tightly.
Instead of the suave illusion, the 80s icon was seen flying backwards, hitting the floor with an almighty thud.

She later told press of the incident: "I didn’t hurt my butt, but I hurt my head. I had a little bit of whiplash, I smacked the back of my head.
"I had a man standing over me with a flashlight until about 3am to make sure I was compos mentis."
"I was told to tie my cape and start much further back and I had to walk further and everyone was worried my cape was going to slide off so they tied it really tight," Madonna went on.

"So here I am marching in like the Queen, I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled the silky string and it wouldn’t come undone. My two lovely Japanese dancers, they basically strangled me off the stage.
"I could either be strangled or fall, and I chose to fall."
And now, almost a decade later, the Desperately Seeking Susan star has once again been subjected to another fall while performing on stage in Seattle.
Singing her 1986 banger 'Open Your Heart' while being dragged backwards on a chair, her backing dancer seemed to lose his footing, and instead, dropped the star on her derrière.

Despite the cringe-worthy slip-up, concert attendees and viewers of the footage have since heaped praise onto Madonna for her professionalism.
Commenting on her ability to effortlessly roll away and continue singing, one social media user penned: "@Madonna took a little fall on stage tonight in Seattle. She was a good sport about it. It was a great show."
Another tweeted: "This is the most I’ve ever liked Madonna. I love someone who can laugh at herself. God bless her though, I’m a decade younger and fall off chairs in my living room."

A third went on: "Madonna recovers like a professional as always."
Someone else penned: "Always the professional Madonna. Keep singing, doesn’t miss a note. 65, what a lady."
