The M&S Bank Arena was plunged into darkness in the middle of an S Club concert forcing people to be evacuated tonight (October 30).
S Club - formerly known as S Club 7 - fans were evacuated after being plunged into darkness just before 9pm.
X user @DaniDSilvez tweeted: 'S club concert at M&S Arena… fire alarms went off and all evacuated'.

And M&S Bank Arena have since issued a statement on Twitter regarding the incident.
They wrote: "Tonight, as S Club were close to finishing their set at the arena, there was a minor incident which triggered a partial evacuation.
"The issue was resolved quickly and we were able to restart the show.
"We will be launching a full investigation. The safety of the audience, staff and performers is always our primary concern."

The gig in Liverpool had already previously been rescheduled to 30 October following a fire.
Bradley McIntosh, Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett and Jon Lee were due to take to the stage in Merseyside on 13 October, however, the show had been called off.
The arena had announced the gig has been postponed due to an 'unforeseen technical issue'.

Hannah Spearritt was not present after having previously withdrawing from the 'The Good Times' tour earlier in the year.
The band shared a statement confirming the cancellation which read: "S Clubbers, we're beyond devastated to announce that tonight's show in Liverpool has had to be postponed by the venue, due to them having an unforeseen technical issue impacting their power supply and therefore your safety.
"We can't begin to express how sorry we are. Especially as we know so many of you have travelled great distances to join us tonight.

"But your safety is our priority always. We're rescheduling tonight's performance in Liverpool to Monday 30th October and all tickets remain valid.
"If you cannot make the new date, refunds are available from your original point of purchase.
"We're absolutely heartbroken, but really hope we will see you then.
"Thank you for continuing to always support us. Sending you much love. Brad, Jo, Jon, Rachel, and Tina x".

And Jon Lee later went on Instagram to confirm that it had been due to a 'fire in the building' which 'knocked out some of the electrics', leaving the venue 'unsafe' to perform in.
He said: "It was not our decision, we were fighting to perform."
