The latest season of Bridgerton dropped just last week (16 May) and I'm sure we've all collectively watched the carriage steam millions and millions of times over.
We've seen that the first part of the third season of the Netflix show focuses on friends-to-lovers Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, played by Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan respectively.
Now, viewers have been treated to a whole lot of steamy scenes typical with the 'Ton but it's clear nothing has made fans go as feral as the infamous carriage scene.

One X user penned: "Just watched the carriage scene with the audio description and I'm unwell."
A second chimed in: "The descriptions that came my god... I'm not able to process it something changed in me after I watched with audio descriptions."
"I actually need to take several days to get over it I fear," replied the original poster.

A fourth admitted: "I tried using this setting for the journal scene, and it was... very detailed and as if I were watching it for the first time all over again."
They continued: "I'm afraid I can't continue watching the remaining episodes without it."
"Thank you for your service," praised a fifth while a sixth quipped: "I refuse to watch the rest of the season without this..."

Another revealed: "Gonna try it later thanks for the idea."
And a final X user echoed: "My life has split into before and after..."
Us too, gal, us too.

In case you've not seen it, the scene sees Penelope and Colin finally confess their feelings for one another before things heat up a notch - or ten - in the back of a carriage.
During the hot and heavy make-out session, Colin slips his right hand under Penelope’s skirt before the carriage arrives outside Bridgerton House.
Those paying extra attention to Colin - well, his fingers - noticed how he was 'making sure to not touch' Penelope's dress using his second and third fingers on his hand when fixing her up for, well, reasons you can probably imagine.
And, we've finally got the confirmation that the whole 'improvised' finger detail was not a coincidence and was actually done on purpose.

During an interview with Netflix Brasil, Nicola and Luke were discussing the scene when she asked: "Have you seen the thing online about the fingers? Was that intentional?"
Smiling, Luke revealed it was prompting jaw-dropped Nicola to exclaim: "Was it actually?!" while he winked to the camera.
Luke added, tapping the side of his head: "Yeah, it's all up here everyone!"
Well, that settles that then.
