One thing Bridgerton's known for, apart from the extremely steamy scenes, is the beautifully ornate costume department.
From Queen Charlotte's incredible swan wig and Cressida Cowper's heartbreaking hidden hair detail to Penelope Featherington's stunning corset gowns and, of course, Lady Danbury's iconic cane - it's clear the 'ton spares no expense when it comes to dressing up their cast Regency-era style.
However, it's clear there's one character who noticeably has a far less in-your-face wardrobe than her co-stars and she's since revealed the interesting reason as to why.
Kathryn Drysdale plays Genevieve Delacroix, AKA Madame Delacroix if you're a customer after the best frock money can buy.

Madame Delacroix is known amongst characters as the go-to place to go if you're in need of a ball gown, but Netflix viewers were quick to clock on to the fact that she only wore black in the latest season.
Well, to shed some light on her character, Kathryn took to Instagram yesterday (19 June) to answer a bunch of questions to help shed some light on the weird but oh-so wonderful world of Bridgerton.
When asked why her shop looked so different in the second part of season three, she explained: "Thanks to Pen helping boost her business she upgraded and got a new shop."

Kathryn also revealed just how her character was able to make so many dresses so quickly, writing: "She has a team of seamstresses who work in the back or from home. She designs the dresses but doesn’t make them all."
Makes sense.
And lastly, when asked why she always wear the 'same' or 'similar' dress, Kathryn shared: "The creatives wanted Gen to be have like a Chanel / Steve jobs / Karl lagerfeld type vibe.
"Also her job is to make the Ton feel beautiful never to steal the spotlight herself . Sometimes modistes of the time did show off their creations but Genevieve prefers to keep it simple."

She added: "Her hair in S3 is also always loosely tied up as if in a rush."
Casual gown and thrown up hair or not - it's clear Madame Delacroix definitely rocked the effortlessly chic vibe.
Fans have since rushed to the comments to share their reactions to the answers with one Instagram user writing: "I absolutely love Madame Delacroix and her outfit is simple yet beautiful."

Another echoed: "Madame Delacroix is a strong lady boss. She holds the power to dress up the ton. She knows everything and still.
"Gossip - Lady Whistledown. Society - Lady Danbury. Fashion - Madame Delacroix."
That's for sure.
