It feels like we've been waiting a lifetime for the final half of Bridgerton's third season, but as of 8am this morning (13 June), we've been fed.
Netflix's Regency-era romp left us speechless as the credits rolled on the first half of the season.
Lead friends-to-lovers duo Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) finally admitted their love for one another and set our pulses racing with an extremely steamy scene in the back of a carriage.

Colin then popped the question to Penelope with a cool and direct: "Are you going to marry me or not?"
Those of us who have watched Bridgerton from the start will know Penelope has always loved Colin - so her saying yes was always a given.
While Netflix have done an immaculate job with their adaptation, the romance drama is actually set on a book series written by Julia Quinn.

This specific season centered on Penelope and Colin is based on the book Romancing Mister Bridgerton, and ever since it was confirmed that one specific sex scene will be recreated on our screens - fans have been going out of their minds.
Nicola and Luke haven't held back when teasing us about what we could expect from the latest instalment of Bridgerton.
Nicola opened up to Stylist about getting completely naked for one raunchy scene.
She said: "I specifically asked for certain lines and moments to be included. There’s one scene where I’m very naked on camera, and that was my idea, my choice.

"It just felt like the biggest ‘f**k you’ to all the conversation surrounding my body; it was amazingly empowering."
Nicola also shared that filming the sex scenes were some of her favourite parts of filming.
She told Radio Times: "It was one of the things I enjoyed most. Luke and I had a real hand in what we did and how it came across. We had agency and we could let it flow.

"Thankfully, we had that physical comfort with one another – so it ended up being a really beautiful thing."
And now that fans are starting to tuck in to the latest episodes - they have some thoughts to share about the one scene we were promised from the book.
I am of course talking about the mirror scene.
For those unfamiliar, the mirror scene refers to a part of the aforementioned book where Colin communicates his desire to see Penelope undress in front of a mirror so he can admire her body before they have sex for the first time.

Speaking about the translation from page to screen, Luke told Harper's Bazaar: "I didn’t even realise how genuine, honest, authentic, and also modern it felt until I watched it back. I don’t know why [that didn’t occur to me during production], but I had a moment of watching it back and thinking, Wow, this really does represent the ultimate, caring act of love."
Viewers can't believe their eyes and have taken to social media to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: "THE MIRROR SCENE OH I AM DEAD."
Another added: "Watching the mirror scene in #bridgerton. I finally understand what it feels like to watch your team win the Super Bowl!"
While a third chimed: "Are you kidding me? The mirror scene was amaaaaaaaziiiiing."
Bridgerton season 3 part two is now streaming on Netflix.
