Bridgerton fans were over the moon today when the trailer for part two of season three finally dropped, with many left wondering the same thing as the series continues.
The first four episodes of the Regency-era period drama dropped on Netfix on 16 May and viewers were swept away by the palpable chemistry between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), which manifested in scenes that were so steamy they broke the internet - yes, especially that carriage scene.
The next half of the series will see the newly-engaged couple announce their big news to the 'Ton, with the trailer showing Colin's mother, Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell), being overjoyed at the news while Eloise looked on, seemingly unimpressed.

Lady Danbury remarks: "Who needs fresh air when there is fresh gossip?"
In sweet moments that viewers can't wait to watch later this month, Penelope is shown confessing to Colin that she has 'always loved' him, and nothing makes her happier than being with him.
But of course, the main issue bubbling beneath the surface is whether Penelope will tell her future husband that she is Lady Whistledown, the anonymous writer of the scandalous society papers.
So, alongside plenty of the steamy scenes we know and love, there promises to be plenty of drama, too.

The official Bridgerton X account posted the trailer while posing the question: "With an announcement of such magnitude comes an even greater secret… Which begs this author to wonder: Should one still reveal a truth when they stand to lose everything?"
With Penelope clearly navigating her own inner turmoil, many fans were left questioning if she'd even tell Colin her secret.
One asked: "SHE IS TEMPTED TO KEEP IT SECRET??? BUT WHY SHE MUST TELL HIM."

Another worried viewer said: "Don't tell me that they have unhappy wedding day?! That’s the least of what I need. I need Penelope and Colin to be happy. At least settle everything before the wedding."
In the book, Colin finds out Penelope's dirty little secret when he follows her one day, before confronting her.
However, the series doesn't always follow the timeline of the novel - as shown by the fact he actually found out before they got engaged - and before the steamy carriage scene that we've already seen.

Needless to say, people cannot wait to see what unfolds next when Bridgerton returns to our screens.
One person wrote: "THIS READER JUST SCREAMED THEN FAINTED."
Another said: "I CANT BREATHE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!" to which the Bridgerton account responded: "Should you be in need of some smelling salts, dear reader?"
A third added: "OMG!! June 13th you must make haste!!"
