In an Instagram video, Miranda told her fans: "Hey guys, I know I don’t normally make this kind of content, but I just wanted to be transparent and a little vulnerable with you.
"But before this documentary, my husband and I — we felt safe,” she said. “Now that this documentary is out, we feel like our lives have been put in danger."
She explained how she and husband James Derrick have been followed in their cars and have received hate mail.
She continued: "We have both been followed in our cars. We have received hate mail, death threats. People have been sending us messages to commit suicide. We’ve been stalked."

She then added: "Someone said that, 'If I see you on the street, I'm going to come and gut you so you better get security'.
"Someone also said that, 'If I see you walking on the sidewalk, I'm going to come and shove you in the trunk of my car'."
Miranda explained how the May release of the Netflix docuseries has strained her relationship with her family, including her parents and sister.
She explained: "Honestly, I don't understand how my parents and my sister thought that this documentary would help me, or would help our relationship in any way."

Miranda told the camera: "Honestly, I think that my parents, my sister have focused so much on this documentary, that they’ve forgotten about working on any relationship with me and that hurts. That hurts me to say."

"I know nothing about the particulars of what you are referring to, but bullying & hateful threats are never acceptable under any circumstances. Sending prayers for healing, respect & clarity from afar," added a third.
Another posted: "Just know you’re always loved miranda."
The documentary series aired in May and focuses on a group of TikTok dancers who were being managed by a company called 7M, which has had allegations that it's a cult due to its links to a religious church. The three-part series focuses on Miranda and her rise to fame, including how she and her sister Melanie initially started out performing together as the Wilking Sisters.
