Fans simply can't get enough of the six-episode series.

Netflix fans are begging the streaming service to ‘immediately’ commission a second season of an ‘amazing’ new show created by Rapman.

If you have a penchant for superhero dramas and comic book-inspired series, look no further than Netflix.

The platform hosts everything from fan-favourite shows The Sandman and Jupiter’s Legacy to Ragnarok and more.

Of course, The Umbrella Academy and Warrior Nun also reside on the platform, however, subscribers are currently raving about a new six-part project starring Ghetts and Digga D.

Late last month, a superhero series written, created and directed by Andrew Onwubolu - better known by his stage name Rapman - dropped on the platform.

The Sillkey-scored show follows a group of Black South London residents who are unified by a family history of sickle cell disease (SDC).

Suddenly, the five capital dwellers begin to develop superpowers, such as teleportation, telekinesis and invisibility.

After coming to terms with their abnormalities, the group, spearheaded by delivery driver Michael Lasaki (played by Tosin Cole), discover they must work together to fend off an organisation that’s hunting them.

If you’re liking the sound of this series already then check out the trailer for Rapman’s Supacell below:

Fronted by Tosin, Supacell also sees The Responders’ Adelayo Adedayo and Calvin Demba stepping into starring roles.

It also features cameos from grime MC Ghetts and UK drill artist Digga D, who play a gang leader and member, respectively.

The six-episode show seems to have taken off since it premiered on Netflix on June 27, with critics awarding Rapman’s first venture into television a rare 100 percent score on the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer.

But it isn’t just reviewers who are speaking favourably about Supacell.

Netflix subscribers have come out in their droves to praise the show and demand a second season be put in the works.

After watching the programme, one X user wrote: “Finished the first episode of Supacell. UGH a UK show about people with powers. Not me getting my Misfits fix. I needed this.”

A second typed: “Ima need #Supacell to hurry up with a season 2.”

“I need Supacell season 2 in 10 minutes,” echoed someone else.

Another user commented: “So, um, @RealRapman and @netflix We need Season 2 of #Supacell, immediately!”

A fifth penned: “I’m so glad I didn’t let my ignorance stop me from watching this amazing show. @Netflix we need three more seasons of #Supacell as soon as possible. (And pay them people well.)”

At the time of writing, it’s not known whether Supacell will be green-lit for a second season.

But in the meantime, you can watch the show's first series on Netflix now.
