Netflix has made a huge Nobody Wants This announcement despite users having a major complaint

The rom-com, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, went straight to the top of the streaming platform's Top 10 list, after fans across the globe rattled through all 10 episodes in no time at all.

Since its release last month (26 September), Nobody Wants This received an avalanche of rave reviews from Netflix viewers and it was immediately clear that many were itching for their next fix of the 'heartbreaking' series they claimed they'd 'never recover from'.

Erin Foster, the creator of the series who took inspiration for Nobody Wants This from her own personal love story with her husband Simon Tikhman, previously shared an update on her plans for a possible second season following the mammoth success of the first.

Speaking to Indiewire, Foster confirmed the show was getting a 'really positive response', adding: "And so I think the conversations have definitely started to happen about a potential season 2.

"The story in Season 1 unfolds really slowly. And so I think if there is a Season 2 I would want to just kind of pick up where we leave off and continue to take it slow, because I don’t want us to get too far ahead of ourselves."

She then assured: "I mean, I want my show to be on the air as long as possible!"

Well, it seems that peoples' wishes have come true after Netflix announced the news on X last night (10 October) that a second season is on the way.

"Put down your ice cream. NOBODY WANTS THIS SEASON 2 IS HAPPENING," the streamer wrote.

"I absolutely want this!" gushed one X user.

Another praised: "I'm really excited to hear that! The anticipation for season 2 will be thrilling, and it's great to know that audiences are enjoying it."

Others, however, were eager for a second instalment of another show which recently landed on the streamer - none other than Kaos starring Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer.

The comedy-drama sky-rocketed to the number one spot where it remained for several weeks before shockingly getting 'cancelled' after just one season.

And it's clear some fans aren't too happy about the news, with one X user hitting out: "I actually don't want this, I want more Kaos!"

"Now bring back Kaos," demanded another.

A third piped up: "There’s still time. Now do KAOS."

"What we want is more Kaos," echoed a fourth, while a fifth chimed in: "I haven't seen a single episode, but I DID watch all of KAOS! We want another season of #KAOS!"

And a final X user echoed: "This is great, but what about #KAOS?"

Both Kaos and Nobody Wants This are currently available to stream on Netflix.
