Big Brother star Trish Balusa has reportedly been banned from the final this evening, following backlash after a number of tweets from her past resurfaced.
Trish, 33, was voted out from the show last Friday, much to the surprise of housemates and many viewers watching at home.
However, that weekend, fans were left shocked when tweets Trish had posted re-emerged, with people criticising her use of language that targeted ‘marginalised groups’ like the LGBT+ community and the Asian community.

ITV confirmed she would not be making an appearance on Big Brother: Late & Live, where the most recently evicted housemate usually features.
Trish later issued an apology, saying in a statement: “I’m aware that some very concerning old tweets of mine have resurfaced, and I would like to sincerely apologise for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated and the pain I have caused to the marginalised communities and groups of people mentioned.”
“There are no excuses for the ignorance that I showed and I am deeply disappointed, embarrassed and ashamed that I once made such comments. I have come a very long way since by educating myself and being educated by others on the impact and harm those views cause.”

Now ITV has made the decision to un-invite Trish from the live final this evening, according to a source from the channel.
“Trish was keen to attend but production decided it was best if she didn't come and told her she was no longer invited,” an insider told The Sun.
"They didn't want to look like they were endorsing Trish's opinions, even though she has apologised for them, and they felt it was a distraction from the final.
"Trish was disappointed but she respects the show's wishes and will be there in spirit."

While Trish will not be at the final in person, the source confirmed she would still appear in footage.
"Trish will still be including in the VT packages and will still very much be a part of the show,” they said.
“Aside from her misguided social media activity, she was still a huge key player in the series and a great housemate, so it wouldn't have been fair to act like she was never in the house."

As the final began, many viewers noticed Trish's absence.
"Omg is Trish not there?" one tweeted.
