It's been over a week since the eagerly-awaited third instalment of period-drama Bridgerton (finally!) landed on Netflix, and fans are still raving about this year's debutants.
And should we really be surprised?
If you're been on the Bridgerton bandwagon since Day 1, you'll already be well aware of the fact that the most recent season absolutely lives up to the show's stellar reputation.
There are jaw-dropping romantic revelations in every ballroom and plot twists around every corner - not to mention the iconic Mozart-esque remixes of chart-topping bangers, immaculate costumes and poetic scripts.

Of all the features that make Bridgerton the hugely successful series it is today, however, the huge-name cast undoubtedly make a pivotal contribution to the show's colossal fan-base.
The romantic-drama smash hit has previously featured the likes of acting heartthrobs Jonathan Bailey and Rege-Jean Page, whilst British comedy TV legends Ben Miller and Nicola Coughlan have appeared as much-loved supporting stars.
Something else that newbies to the series have seemingly been left surprised by also, is the identity of the show's narrator - the voice of unnamed mystery author 'Lady Whistedown', whose weekly gossip pamphlets often sway the opinions of The Ton's highest class busybodies when it comes to the current social happenings.

Though it was revealed at the end of series one that Nicola Couglan - who plays the seemingly innocent Penelope Featherington - is actually the unnamed, trouble-causing author, Lady Whistledown is voiced by another world-famous actress entirely.
If you're in tune with the celebrity world, you may have already attributed the unnamed female characters iconic voice to a global star.
Or if you've managed to avoid immediately skipping the credits to reach the next episode, you could already know who voices the chaos-causer.
If not, however, you might be surprised to learn that Lady Whistledown is actually voiced by Princess Diaries legend, Julie Andrews.

Yep, as in, the The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins star we all know and love.
And apparently, Bridgerton fans have been left mind-blown by this revelation.
"THE JULIE ANDREWS IS THE NARRATOR OF BRIDGERTON?!?! i am inlove with this show already," one penned on Twitter this week.

Another went on: "Just realised that Julia Andrews plays the voice over for Lady Whistledown"
"Omg I didn't know the lady whistledown voice in bridgerton is julie andrews," a third admitted.
Another continued: "I just realised Julie Andrews (the lead character from that old movie The Sound of Music") is the narrators voice in Bridgerton. She's 88 years old."
