After much anticipation, the live finale of Britain's Got Talent 2024 took to our television screens last night.
And despite an extremely happy ending for musician Sydnie Christmas - who was crowned this year's champion by presenters Ant and Dec - there were several other, rather scandalous, moments from last night's show that certainly set got viewers at home talking...
First of all, fans of the long-standing ITV series were left divided after judge Amanda Holden made an appearance in a rather controversial outfit.

Dressed in a floor-length sparkling dress complete with a mesh skirt and a low-cut silver armour-style upper half - designed by J'Aton Couture, a Melbourne-based couture house that has been serving looks since 1995 - the mother-of-two looked undoubtedly captivating.
Many viewers at home, however, didn't seem to agree.
One person wrote: "Considering it’s a family show…Amanda Holden wears the most inappropriate outfits!!!"
Another said: "@AmandaHolden needs guidance on her inability to cover up suitably for family audiences."

Whereas others, us included, loved the look, as one said: "I think Amanda Holden looks amazing... if I had a figure like that I'd be rocking it too believe me lol."
Despite Amanda's hotly-debated attire, however, there was another moment during last night's show that set tongues wagging from home, after her fellow host Bruno Tonioli appeared to be subjected to a wave of booing by the audience.
The moment came after the Geordie presenting pair caught up with the former Strictly Come Dancing icon about his thoughts on the series so far.

"It's been brilliant, it's fantastic. It's really, really good. So good," Bruno gushed.
"Everyone, they stop me everywhere to talk about the show. It's amazing and it's all kinds of people from kids to grandparents, the show is very inclusive in that way."
"I just love the way the audience has taken this show into their hearts. The show has that impact and I'm just so proud to be a part of it."
Following his admission, however, viewers from home were surprised to hear the dancing pro seemingly being booed by members of the live studio audience.

Taking to social media, one viewer asked: "Why did everyone just boo Bruno what have I missed."
"Is it just me or is Bruno getting boos every time he speaks," another asked.
A third went on: "Why do the audience always boo Bruno on BGT, even when he makes positive comments? What have I missed."

It was later revealed, however, that members of the live audience were, in fact, chanting Bruno's name, as opposed to booing him.
Phew...
