Celebrity Big Brother star Ekin-Su's family have just issued a heartbreaking plea after receiving 'abusive threats' from cruel trolls online.
Last night's episode (14 March) saw five housemates be put up for eviction, with the Love Island 2022 winner being nominated by Bradley Riches, Fern Britton, Zeze Millz and Marisha Wallace.
After receiving the news, Ekin-Su looked visibly upset before she responded to the situation.
Broadway star Marisha opened up about her decision to nominate Ekin-Su, saying she had chosen her as she reckoned she wouldn't be able to beat her in the final.

"I knew this was going to happen! This judging me because I went on a f**king show before," Ekin-Su hit out, later suggesting it was 'not fair'.
The episode sparked a frenzy online, with many social media users rushing in to share their candid thoughts on the former Islander's reaction.
Since then, Ekin-Su's family have released a statement to both X and Instagram, starting off by admitting 'last night was a really sad episode to watch'.

The statement continued: "Ekin-Su has always cared and worn her heart on her sleeve, and last night we saw that.
"What made last night a thousands times harder though is seeing and listening to hateful comments, trolling, name calling, and physical abuse threats.
"Nobody deserves this behaviour and to read some of what we did last night."
The family went on: "@bbuk is a reality entertainment show that is edited to entertain us as viewers.

"We see an hour of 24 hours each day, and the show is a social experiment that has been known to heighten emotions."
They then finished up the statement thanking all the fans who have supported Ekin-Su on her CBB journey, adding: "The love and kind words haven't gone unnoticed! Please remember, in a world where you can be anything, be kind. Love always, Team Ekin-Su x."
Fans have since rushed in to share their support, with one writing: "This is so sad."

A second claimed: "Hope she has lots of support and better guidance from her team when she gets out. Whoever advised her to go on a show like BB straight after a rough breakup was not doing her a favour."
"Supporting Ekin always, the most beautiful person," praised a final Twitter user.
