Dancing on Ice viewers have been left utterly shocked after Holly Willoughby appeared to tell Stephen Mulhern to ‘f**k off’.
During Movie Week on the ITV show, the presenting duo shocked viewers when Stephen tried to scare Holly by scaring her right before introducing the next couple up to the stage.
Clearly startled by the stunt, viewers reckoned the former This Morning presenter let a swear out, but she has since come forward to share an apology statement after allegedly using the 'naughty word' on Sunday night (28 January).
Before that, however, viewers rushed to social media to share their theories on what Holly appeared to say during the segment.

One X, formerly Twitter, user claimed: "HOLLY TOLD STEPHEN TO F*CK OFF LIVE ON TV LMAO."
"Not 100 per cent sure what she said but no matter what it was it included the word 'f*ck' so..." penned a second.
A third chimed in: "HOLLY! You CANNOT swear on Live Television."
"Did Holly just call Stephen a f*cker?" asked a fourth, while a fifth echoed: "Did Holly just say f*cker?"

A sixth wondered: "Hang on did I miss Holly swearing?"
"Holly literally just said 'f*ck'. F*cking brilliant!" added a final Twitter user.
Others, however, reckoned she said something a little more PG instead.

"Sounds like 'for god' tbf," penned one viewer,
A second declared: "I'd love it but she’s too experienced for that. She was starting to say 'Oh for god’s sake.'"
"I think she said 'for god's sake,'" quipped a third, while a fourth wrote: "Sounds like it but I think she just said 'fgs' in a gasp."
But, to put all that speculation to rest, Holly has since come forward to clear the whole thing up once and for all.

She explained: "Now, a little bit earlier on, Stephen may have made me jump, and I think it may have sounded like a naughty word slipped out.
"I don’t think I did! But I’m sorry if that’s what you thought you might have heard, but I don’t think I did."
She continued: "I’ll watch it back on ITV player, because that’s where you can watch these things back.

"But I’m sorry!"
Holly then went on to blame Stephen for the situation, insisting it was his fault for 'being so naughty', to which he then joked: "I get the blame for everything at the moment, I’m new!"
Well, there you have it.
