Now that the festivities of Christmas and Boxing Day have finally subsided, I'm sure many of us are tucking into leftovers, finishing off the festive booze and slowly getting back in the swing of things.
Well, it seems, alongside all of that, some people are also devising their own fan theories surrounding the much-anticipated EastEnders Crimbo episode - which finally reveal one of the biggest whodunnit TV murders of the year.
And some viewers reckon that the show had actually 'secretly revealed' who the Christmas killer was a whole 10 months ago.

Now, before we get into the fan speculation, we already had some clues revealed about the episode - with the victim previously being confirmed as a male character by producer Chris Clenshaw.
A promo picture for the Christmas episode announced who was up in the rundown for characters who could have been on the chopping block.

It saw the likes of Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who were all standing in the Queen Vic – where the murder would happen – wearing cufflinks that the BBC hinted were relevant in some way.
We were also teased with info on who the six suspects for the grisly crime were comprised of Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
And, on the big day itself, we found out the murder victim was fan-favourite Keanu Taylor, who was killed by none other than Linda Carter.

While the reveal was a total shock for many, it's clear not everyone was as gobsmacked by the reveal as others.
Rewinding back to February, EastEnders viewers were left baffled after watching one episode which flashed forward in time seeing Sharon Watts, Linda Carter, Denise Fox, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater and Kathy Beale all standing around an unidentified dead male body.
This sparked the beginning of the mystery leaving many totally dumbfounded over who the victim was alongside the identity of the killer.

One fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their theory that let slip the murder was committed by the pub landlady.
They reposted a clip originally posted to TikTok which saw Linda calling out 'last orders' after ringing the bell at the Queen Vic.

She then strolls over to Keanu and asks him: "Stood you up, has she?"
For context, 'For whom the bell rolls' was the slogan on the festive trailer.
They captioned the clip: "I just watched this Christmas eve and my mum and I went 'OH FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS' but seeing this again after omg."
What do you reckon?
