Ellen Pompeo has revealed her 10-year-old daughter is 'not ready' to watch Grey's Anatomy, despite 'lots of kids' in her class having seen the series.
The mum-of-three has restricted her daughter from watching the medical drama, despite her 15-year-old daughter having viewed episodes already.
Pompeo, 55, made a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she opened up about the good and bad side of Hollywood, as well as how she parents her children.

The star played Dr. Meredith Grey on the iconic series for two decades, but left her role during season 19 in 2023.
Upon her departure, she revealed that the reason why she had to leave was because she simply had no time for anything else.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Pompeo said: "I don’t get to do anything else, and that’s frustrating for me creatively.

"I make 24 episodes of TV a year, and as part of this deal, I cannot appear anywhere else. And directing is cool but, to be honest, it just takes me away from my kids."
Speaking about her children on the show this weekend (14 March), she said: "My 15-year-old has seen it. And now my 10-year-old wants to see it, which, she’s not ready.
"But a lot of kids in her class have seen it."
And it seems as though the actress is following the official advice, as Grey's Anatomy is rated TV-14 due to strong violence, suggestive dialogue, sexual content, and language.

But this isn't the only reason why the 10-year-old isn't allowed to watch the series.
"I don’t want my daughter to see me in my underwear on television just yet," Pompeo added.
"But all her classmates have. So, that makes for great conversation at pick-up."

The host spoke about how crazy Hollywood can be for those stars who have little ones.
Pompeo recognised that there are two sides to the luxury world, as she noted: "It is a super weird place in that way, but also a really incredible place at the same time because these kids look all around them and they see a bunch of people whose dreams came true.
"And they believe that their dreams, too, can come true."
The star shares three children - two daughters and a son - with her husband, Chris Ivery.
