A clip from the moment MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace refused to eat Penny Lancaster’s food has resurfaced online following Rod Stewart's savage attack on him.
It was announced yesterday that Wallace will step away from hosting MasterChef, while historical misconduct complaints are externally reviewed by the show’s production company, Banijay UK, who has since issued a statement on the matter.
Since the news, Stewart's shared a scathing statement on Wallace following the way he treated his wife, Lancaster, when she was on Celebrity MasterChef alongside him.
Lancaster, who married the 'Sailing' singer back in 2007, appeared on season 16 of Celebrity MasterChef back in 2021 and made it to the quarter final of the show before being knocked out.

During her time on the show, Wallace - whose lawyers have stated to the BBC that the previously mentioned allegations are false - refused to eat the tartar sauce she made, critiquing her for incorrectly using 'whole eggs instead of egg yolks'.
The presenter also called out Lancaster for being late serving her food to critics in the quarter finals, which left the model in tears.
Taking to Instagram yesterday (28 November), Stewart shared the statement: "So Gregg Wallace gets fired from MasterChef.

"Good riddance Wallace..."
He continued: "You humiliated my wife when she was on the show, but you had that bit cut out didn't you? You're a tubby, bald-headed, ill-mannered bully. Karma got ya."
The 79-year-old then signed off the post 'Sir Rod Stewart'.

Following Stewart's remarks, the moment from Celebrity MasterChef has since resurfaced showing Lancaster being left humiliated after her fried calamari and home-made tartar sauce didn't go to plan as the judges refused to try what was dubbed a 'raw egg/oil milkshake'.
Lancaster started out in high spirits, telling the camera: "I'm doing surprisingly well compared to what I imagined how I'd be doing. I don't want to slip up now."
However, things took a turn when she served Wallace the dish saying: "That tartar sauce doesn't look like the tartar sauce I'd normally have."

He then informed her: "You used whole eggs instead of egg yolks."
Co-judge John Torode then quipped: "What I've got in here is a raw egg/oil milkshake. Unfortunately, I can't eat that."
Another episode, which was the one she eventually got eliminated in, saw Wallace telling Lancaster: "Mate, we can’t be 10 minutes late," calling her delay 'serious'.

Explaining the situation, Lancaster said: "Everything piled on top of me. I just hope the wait was worth it."
After getting eliminated, she resolved: "It would’ve been incredible to get through to the semi finals but it wasn’t meant to be.
"Absolutely no regrets whatsoever. I’ve always loved to eat food, never loved to cook - and now I love both."
