Fans of The Grinch have just realised where they recognise Cindy Lou from. Aside from fronting the hard rock band The Pretty Reckless, she has also starred in a smash-hit teen drama.
Of course it's not ground-breaking that actresses feature in multiple different films and shows, but it always seems fascinating to see what child-stars go on to do.
Viewers were surprised to learn that the actress who plays Cindy Lou in The Grinch - Taylor Momsen - also starred in a fan-favourite teen drama.

Momsen was just seven-years-old when she was cast as the little girl who changes the Grinch's perspective on Christmas.
However, despite the role being a dream come true, years later she revealed that she was 'made fun of relentlessly' for the character.
Talking on the podcast Podcrushed, the star said: "The Grinch changed my life in a multitude of ways.

"So any time I would start school or go somewhere else, I don’t even think the kids knew my name. I was just Grinch girl.
"Not even character name. Just Grinch girl. I got used to it, but it was alienating."
Aged 14, she was cast as Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl...which is where fans are now recognising her from.
Viewers shared their amazement on X, as one said: "Useless information that blew my mind for no reason today. Jenny from Gossip Girl.... is also Cindy Lou Who from The Grinch."

Another said: "As if I’ve only just realised Cindy Lou Who in the Grinch is Jenny from Gossip Girl."
A third wrote: "OK BUT DID ANYONE KNOW THAT CINDY LOU WHO FROM THE GRINCH IS ALSO JENNY HUMPHREY FROM GOSSIP GIRL."
Despite the bullying she faced as a result of the role - because let's face it, kids can be mean - the star admitted that featuring in the Christmas staple was truly a 'blessing'.

In an interview with Today, Momsen said: "I think that people love The Grinch just simply because the core of the story is so sweet and it's so heartwarming and it has such a good message.
"That no matter what age touches your heart, I think that that's an amazing thing to be a part of."
Recalling what it felt like to work with Jim Carrey, who plays the Christmas-hating green creature, she added: "I remember him being so kind, so concerned, but so methodical with what he was doing.
"Even at that young of an age, I remember watching him and going, 'I'm watching an artist right now at work.'

"Aside from how amazing Jim Carrey's performance is and the theatrics that went into the shoot, just the way the film looks and moves and is edited is amazing in its own right."
