I’m A Celeb fans confused as real reason Tulisa is exempt from next trial is revealed

I’m A Celeb fans confused as real reason Tulisa is exempt from next trial is revealed

ITV viewers have rushed to social media to share their confusion over the comment Tulisa made during last night's episode

I’m A Celeb fans have been left seriously confused after the real reason why Tulisa is exempt from next trial was revealed.

Now, last night's episode (24 November) of the beloved reality TV programme saw Coleen Rooney take on her first Bushtucker trial alongside Dean, who has been consistently voted to do trials.

At the end of the episode, Ant and Dec revealed that Dean would also be taking on tonight's trial - Jack and the Screamstalk.

However, fans were quick to notice Tulisa explaining to the campmates that she was 'medically exempt' from the trial, because it would involve heights.

The star said quietly: "I know it's heights because it's what I'm medically exempt from."

Now, the 36-year-old N-Dubz singer revealed before heading on I'm A Celeb that she suffered with Bell's palsy - making her exempt from some challenges.

During an appearance on Loose Women in 2020, she said: "I do suffer from Bell's palsy...it can cause facial paralysis, it can cause swelling.

"I think the first attack I had was after a serious horse-riding accident. I fractured my skull and it caused a lot of nerve damage."

The condition causes symptoms whereby there is an inability to move one side of the face, as well as a drooping eyelid and corner of the mouth, loss of taste or dry mouth, and a dry or watering eye.

The former X Factor judge added: "At any time, I have emergency steroids on me, and now luckily I know how to manage it, so the attacks don't last as long."

ITV viewers, however, pointed to fact that Tulisa has already jumped out of a helicopter on the show, with one X user writing: "Didn’t Tulisa jump out of a helicopter?? How is she exempt from this trial due to heights?"

Another agreed, adding: "Didn’t Tulisa just say she was medically exempt from heights, didn’t she jump out of a helicopter?"

A third said: "Anyone else hear that from Tulisa in the closing seconds of tonight’s #ImACeleb she knew the task would be heights because she read it in the exemptions… not sure we were meant to hear that."

"Tulisa jumped out a helicopter, how’s she exempt from heights?" echoed another, and a final X user added: "Tulisa saying she knows it’s heights as that’s what she’s exempt from? Did I dream her jumping out a plane at the start of the series?"
