Fans are claiming that a Netflix show has one of the 'maddest' plot twists they've ever seen.
The thriller series, starring Eve Hewson and Tom Bateman debuted on Netflix in 2021 and has formed somewhat of a cult following.
The supernatural programme, based on Sarah Pinborough’s 2017 novel of the same name, was created by Steve Lightfoot and features a 'wild' plot twist ending.

Speaking about its bizarre conclusion in an X thread about the 'biggest plot twist ever', one fan of the show wrote: “Not a movie but ‘Behind Her Eyes’ on Netflix had a wild a** plot twist.”
A second said: “Just finished watching Behind Her Eyes on Netflix & the plot twist ending f****ng GOT ME.”
While a third said: "I just binged watched Behind Her Eyes on Netflix & that plot twist was CRAZYYYY"

Paramount+ is currently airing this six-episode British thriller series, starring Line of Duty’s Vicky McClure as Emma.

The cast list for the project, based on the 2022 book of the same name, includes; Tom Cullen as Robert husband of Vicky’s character, Smylie Bradwell and India Fowler as their children Will and Chloe, and Leanne Best as Emma's estranged sister Phoebe.
The plot for this wild ride is that Emma, who is approaching her 40th birthday, is forced to delve into past trauma after developing debilitating insomnia.
If you hadn’t guessed, then this new show, directed by Börkur Sigthorsson and written by Sarah, is called Insomnia.

Naturally, fans of Behind Her Eyes and dramatic thrillers have already been hyping up Insomnia across social media.
One user of X, formerly known as Twitter, took to the platform and penned: "The new Vicky McClure show Insomnia is a BELTER. Reminds me of Smile."
