It Ends With Us has been marketed as a romance - yet it's clear the contents of what plays out is far from a fairytale.
And one viewer has taken to Instagram to warn of exactly that.
The woman, who goes by the handle @sarahthebookfair, took to Instagram to share her views on the allegedly 'appalling' and 'unsettling' marketing of the flick.
Sarah began: "If you are planning to go see It Ends With Us, I urge you to please really look into what it's actually about before you go see it.

"It is being marketed as this romance movie, as this rom-com, as this, like really cutesy little story. It's not."
She then issued a 'trigger warning' before sharing with prospective viewers: "This is a movie about domestic violence, and the way it's being marketed is not reflective of that at all."
Sarah warned that if someone was planning to see the film without knowing that, then they'd be 'completely blindsided'.

"So if you didn't know that, now you do, and you can make an informed decision on whether or not it's a movie that you want to go see," she continued before adding that she was 'appalled' at the way It Ends With Us has been marketed.
"I'm appalled and disgusted, but simultaneously and unfortunately, really not surprised," Sarah rounded off.
"It's all been very unsettling to say the least."
Tyla has contacted Sony for a comment on the film's marketing.
It Ends With Us is currently available to watch in cinemas across the UK.
