Married At First Sight UK (MAFS) is finally back on our screens with the first episode airing on E4 last night (18 September).
And with this year’s being the longest run of the show yet (there’s a huge 36 episodes in total) and perhaps the most dramatic, we’ll now be busy every weeknight for the next few weeks.

After meeting this year’s 16 brides and grooms we got to watch the marriages of Jay and Luke, and Laura and Arthur.
For MAFS newbies and those needing a refresher, the show pairs up a bunch of singletons thanks to expert matchings and then they meet for the first time on their wedding day.
Obviously, the show is never short on drama and surprises, with groom Arthur kicking off the series with a bang with his well, um, interesting vows.
The 34-year-old tennis coach moved to the UK from Poland when he was 16 and now hopes to find his perfect match off the courts.

Preparing for his wedding to a stranger, Arthur decided to get his vows off the internet – something his friend and little brother both found hilarious.
They were fairly generic but also awkwardly ended with an ‘I love you’ which could probably be seen as just a little bit too much for someone you don’t even know.
And despite a warning it could be a little too intense, Arthur decided to keep it in.

Unsurprisingly, Laura and her bridesmaids had rather shocked faces when he ended his vows with the big hitter.
But, when Tyla asked Arthur if he regretted getting them off the internet, there was only one part he regretted.
He explains to us: “That week when I found out that I've got to write my vows, I was going through a tough time and I didn’t really have much time to sort of sit and think about it.

“Because it takes you a while to sit down and think of the right words to choose for someone that you've never met before."
So, Arthur decided ‘f**k it then, just get it off the internet’.
And when Laura’s bridesmaids found out this was where the vows were from, they wasted no time in telling her at the reception.
The Chelsea boy preferring bride clearly wasn’t happy, after writing her own vows herself.

Arthur confesses: “What I do regret is adding the ‘I love you’ bit to the end, a little bit.
“But you know what, it is what it is.”
