Previous stars of Married at First Sight UK have spilled exactly what happens in the run-up to the wedding ceremonies - many details of which may not be quite what you think...
Earlier this week, E4 viewers became acquainted with a fresh cohort of hopefuls looking for love and willing to say ‘I do’ to a complete stranger.
We've all been tuning in to see the newly-formed couples walk down the aisle, but have you ever wondered what actually happens in the run up to the actual ceremony? Well, we can give you the tea!

MAFS contestants Chanita Stephenson, Jenna Robinson and Zoe Clifton - from season seven in 2022 - have dished all the details you need to know during an exclusive chat with Tyla.
Chanita was married to Jordan Emmett-Connelly on the show but is no longer with him. However, Jenna and Zoe are still very much a couple, and are planning to get legally married in the near future.
Whilst we get to see their all-singing, all-dancing ceremonies on the big screen, we don’t get to see anything from behind-the-scenes, and how each couple plans for the big day.

Chanita told us that each contestant and their partner gets to choose everything from their wedding dress to bridesmaids gowns, within a set budget.
Speaking exclusively to Tyla, she explained: “You get a budget, you can choose whatever wedding dress you want [within the budget]. We get a wedding booklet sent to us, and it’s all different ideas and you choose what it is that you fancy, and then your partner gets one too. They match the two of them together, but you have no idea.
“I wanted bridesmaids dresses and they wouldn’t tell me the colour, they wouldn’t let me know! I was like, ‘We need to match!’ To be fair, everything I chose, I got! I don’t know how I’m gonna get married now, what they did I’m like, ‘How can I beat that?’”

Jenna and Zoe added that they struggled with their choices, as they both picked the complete opposite themes to each other.
“We got given a BuzzFeed quiz where you got to pick colour schemes and the types of flowers you like and things like that,” Jenna told us. She added: “However, I don’t think you listened to anything I said. It was the complete opposite!”
Zoe laughed: “No! Obviously, we hadn’t met so I’ve got to do it and Jenna had to do it as well, and then they had to put them together.”
Jenna added: “Did you pick all the colourful flowers?”

“No I didn’t,” Zoe said, adding: “But I remember the director said ours was his favourite colourful wedding.”
Jenna agreed: “It was stunning and beautiful. It was things I wouldn’t have chosen myself, but it was lovely.”

Former contestant Amy Christophers also recently told Tyla about her experience with her own wedding on the show, admitting there was one aspect that left her feeling 'disappointed'.

Speaking to us on behalf of Spin Genie, the sports presenter - who was paired with Josh Christie - revealed whether the weddings that we see are legally binding or not.
Lifting the lid on one of the biggest questions surrounding the show's format, she said: "No, they're not, no, which I was quite disappointed in."
Explaining how she 'genuinely' thought it was going to be a real wedding, Amy recalled: "When I was on the phone to the casting team, I was like, 'Okay, well, I've got X amount of my savings, is that gonna be enough?'
"And they were laughing on the phone like, 'Don't worry, we take care of everything'."
Naturally, Amy had questions about the ins and outs of process ahead of filming, even wondering what the deal was with getting a prenup.
However, she was surprised to learn she didn't 'really' need one as she wasn't to be 'signing any paperwork'.
"I was like, 'Oh, but I wanted to be a real wedding'. I was actually quite devastated that it wasn't gonna be a legal wedding," Amy revealed. "I nearly pulled out on the show because I did actually want it to be a legal wedding."
