A body language expert analysing some of the most recent episodes of Married At First Sight UK has hit out at contestant Eve Reid over a series of 'micro expressions' she allegedly directed towards former flame Charlie Curtis.
The assessment comes after the hot-headed couple sensationally resigned from the hit dating experiment, leaving viewers with mixed emotions.
The Channel 4 duo have had it far from smooth-sailing since the series kicked off last month, with Eve being accused of 'gaslighting' her other-half.

Charlie was reduced to tears, particularly after opening up about her parents' divorce in a letter-writing task, which Eve declined to take part in herself.
And just days later, MAFS viewers watched Eve discuss her wife behind her back, as another bride branded Charlie a 'bully' - a name Charlie was heartbroken to have overheard during a later confrontation.
After weeks of arguments, last night's instalment saw the duo call time on their relationship for good, after which they departed the show far from amicably.

Now, a body language expert has taken a look back through the pair's final on-screen conversation, and has made a series of observations about Eve's alleged 'red flag' behaviour.
"When Eve says ‘I wish you all the best’ to Charlie, she gives the most patronising fake smile, it’s fantastic footage demonstrating those micro expressions at work," professional interpreter Darren Stanton told Tyla this week on behalf of Spin Genie.
He added, however, that Charlie appeared equally dissatisfied by the conclusion of their romance.

"We see a similar chin thrust gesture from Charlie, as well as raised eyebrows, which shows some anger too.
"She’s not very happy with the outcome here - there’s a reciprocal chin thrust. I think this is why they argued so much as it’s like putting two alpha characters in a room and seeing what happens.
"You have two very strong-willed characters here."
Returning to Eve, Darren reflected on the moment that the former couple announced to the group that they wished to end their marriage.

"Eve is showing an expression of contempt, by using a bi-lateral smile on the left side of her face," he began. "There is also an element of sadness there, because the eyes are pulled together.
"There’s sadness shown through the expressions of the eyes and eyebrows. The chin thrust from Eve is interesting, as this shows there’s anger in there too.
"It’s a sign from people of arrogance, it’s a power gesture, and she is the confident one here.

"Later on, Eve then bows her head down, which does show some more sadness, but shows many of the same gestures as before."
Then, discussing their final televised interaction, Darren also told us that Eve likely harboured some resentment towards her ex: "We later see a bilateral shoulder shrug.
"If you watch it in real time, she says ‘I wish you all the best in your marriages’, and she lifts her right shoulder, that’s a deception."
