OK. It's fair to say that the last season of Married At First Sight UK served us up a whole bunch of drama, bombshell revelations and all-round relationship chaos.
While the Channel 4 reality dating show's season came to an end last year, it's clear that many fans were eager to find out which couples would go on to stay together in the outside world - one which included Georges Berthonneau and Peggy Rose.
However, just a matter of months after the couple confirmed that they were still hitched after the show's conclusion, they have since parted ways with Georges breaking his silence on the split after she made an 'unexpected' announcement.
Peggy, 32, took to Instagram story earlier this afternoon (14 February) to share with her 206k followers a statement following the split.

It began: "I'm so sorry I've been quiet on socials everybody but there's a reason for my silence.
"Me and Georges are no longer together and I'm absolutely heartbroken."
Peggy continued: "It's affected my mental health and it's taken me weeks to come to terms with it but with it being Valentine's Day, I can't pretend to be OK.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported us and our journey... nobody is more upset about it than me x."
Shortly after, Georges took to his own Instagram story where he shared a statement on his own to his 178k followers.
"Wasn't expecting a statement from Peggy regarding this situation," he revealed. "I'm heartbroken by our break-up and also trying to come to terms with life without Peggy."
Georges, 30, finished up the post adding: "I appreciate a lot of you have questions but I won't be talking about this situation as of yet.

"Also thank you for the messages of support," followed by a heart and crying face emoji.
The former couple, who first tied the knot in 2023 on the show, previously took to Instagram in November to share a post confirming the status of their relationship.
It read: " "CONFIRMED: We’re still together! We held back on sharing and smothering socials to give ourselves some much needed quality time post the show end.

"Although we are in a relationship, we still have our own identity and individuality - that’s what makes us so strong. As cliche as this sounds, we want to thank you all for your patience - it hasn’t been easy, but sharing our journey with you means the world as your ongoing love and support are everything to us."
