The release date for the 2024 instalment of Married At First Sight UK has finally be announced after much anticipation.
Bosses at Channel 4 broke the exciting news on the official MAFS Instagram page today, captioned: "Put it in the group chat #MAFSUK is back!"
The exciting news comes just weeks after producers dropped a first-look at this year's instalment, which saw a groom named Kieran pulling a prank on his future wife as she emerged from down the aisle.

In the controversial clip - which instantly went viral online and sparked a massively mixed reaction from fans - the 28-year-old Geordie mechanic can be seen waiting patiently at the front of a church, baring his teeth to show spectators a hideous set of false gnashers.
Several of wife Kristina's bridesmaids took one look at their gal pal's future parter, and were left visibly perplexed.
In the clip, Kieran then 'icked' viewers out even further by raising a finger to his lips, as if imploring with the guests to remain silent on his prank.
And when Kristina finally arrives before him, Kieran breaks into a wide grin, showing off a set of broken and rotting false teeth.

"These teeth. What the f**k?" she exclaims in a confessional.
And by the look of this clip alone, it seems we're in store for a dramatic series.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand - the show's long-awaited release date.

As we say, in a snap posted to social media today - which is a mock up of the home screen of a phone, and shows dating experts Mel Schilling, Paul Carrick Brunson and Charlene Douglas sitting pretty in the background - the time '21.00' can be seen in bold letters.
The date, '16 September' can also be seen, alongside a reminder to, 'Stream or watch live from 9pm on E4'.
Which means - in case you hadn't figured it out yet - the show is actually set to air in just 12 days.
Screaming, crying, throwing up.

And by the sounds of things, fans aren't sure they can even wait that long.
Taking to the post's comments, one joked: "The reason for our existence is back!" while another added: "Too excited!"
The release date comes just days after this year's line-up was released, showing a grand total of 16 contestants, all of whom are putting their entire love life in the hands of a match making process.

Over the next few weeks, we'll see them pair up, exchange vows, enjoy a relaxing honeymoon and shack up together.
But whose romances will stand the test, and whose will fall at the last hurdle?
I guess we'll see you at 9pm on 16 September, where we can find out together...
