MAFS UK contestant Eve breaks social media silence and hints at new relationship after leaving show

MAFS UK contestant Eve breaks social media silence and hints at new relationship after leaving show

Eve Reid left the Channel 4 programme alongside her bride, Charlie Curtis, following an explosive dinner party ordeal

Married At First Sight UK's Eve Reid has finally broken her social media silence and has seemingly now hinted at a new relationship after the leaving show.

Channel 4 viewers will be well-versed in the whole Eve and Charlie drama after the pair became the first couple to leave the experiment.

It all kicked off between the pair during a pretty explosive dinner party ordeal, which saw fellow bride Polly describe Charlie as 'mean' and a 'little bit of a bully' following comments that Eve had made about her.

This led to an intense argument between the contestants, alongside a questionable discussion between Eve and Charlie, who were reduced to tears by the whole situation.

Prior to the dinner party, the couple fell out after the love experts had asked them to write letters to each other discussing their lives and their relationship.

Charlie opened up to Eve about the effect of her parents' split, as well as her subsequent estrangement from her dad - then, shockingly, Eve said she hadn't even written a letter.

It ended in a row, with viewers calling Eve a 'gaslighter' and branding them the 'most incompatible couple' in show’s entire history.

And that wasn't the only time MAFS UK viewers were outraged by Eve's behaviour as, after the dinner party, many were so 'uncomfortable' they even called for her to be removed from the TV show altogether.

Eve and Charlie later became the first couple to leave this year’s experiment in a dramatic commitment ceremony.

"I'm conflicted. Yes, it's the right decision but its still tough walking away from people you have feelings for," Charlie told cameras.

"I'm leaving a heartbroken woman right now."

It's since been weeks since Eve departed from the programme and she's made her first social media post since then.

Eve shared three snaps to her 21.1k Instagram followers this morning (21 October).

The first showed the reality TV star petting a horse in a stable, while the second showed her standing next to a stream of water.

And the final snap showed Eve standing behind a woman holding what looks like a glass of wine wearing matching robes.

She captioned the post: "Amazing weekend with you," alongside a red heart and an autumn leaf emoji.

Now, Eve didn't tag the woman but it would appear as if the pair are romantically connected given their pose and her Instagram caption.

Married at First Sight UK airs every Monday to Thursday at 9pm on E4.
