Hulu viewers have been on a rollercoaster since The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered, and it’s only getting weirder now fans have noticed that one of the gals is linked to Ben Affleck.
That’s right, we’re meshing two very different worlds here.
The reality TV show - which dropped on Hulu on 6 September - goes behind the scenes of eight Mormon women from Utah and explores a scandal that rocked the community.

Apparently, TikTok Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul shared that she and her husband had been 'soft-swinging' with other Mormon couples.
However, People reports that she claimed the ‘majority’ were not involved in the practice.
Taking to social media, many viewers have been left baffled that these religious women are so wild.

Amidst all of the craziness, one Mormon wife, Jen Affleck (no, not that one, or the other one), has been gaining a lot of attention from fans who have realised that she’s related to none other than producer and actor Ben Affleck.
The 25-year-old recently shared a TikTok video of herself getting her hair done, and the caption? Hilarious.
It read: “The new Jenny from the block.”
After fans learned that she’s married to Affleck’s distant cousin, Zac, they have been left in tears.

Like the actor needs this reality TV drama on top of his divorce, right?
Viewers took to social media to talk about the connection and how it’s pushing them to watch the show even more.
One said: “I think one of the funniest things about Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is that one of them is named Jen Affleck.”

Another wrote: “Love that she’s the only one whose last name is used in the confessionals so she can remind everyone every episode that her husband is Ben Affleck’s cousin.”

Opening up to People, Jen said it’s ‘interesting’ being Jennifer Affleck, but she claims she’s the ‘original’.
The mum explained: "Especially because my name happens to be not only Jen, but Jennifer Lynn Affleck, which is the exact same as JLo. She went from Jennifer Lynn Lopez to Jennifer Lynn Affleck, which is so crazy.

"People are very curious and wondering how we're related and it's so funny."
However, just because they’re related by marriage doesn’t mean they're close.
Jen disclosed: "He's my husband's cousin, but we've never met him."
Zac is Affleck’s first cousin once removed, and his dad, Dave Affleck, is Ben and Casey Affleck’s first cousin.
She said: "Zac's dad has [met them], when [Ben] was very little.
"I'm hoping to meet him one day, too!"
Maybe he’ll even appear on the show.
