Phoebe Dynevor has spoken out about a possible return to Bridgerton, saying she had the ‘best time of her life’ shooting the drama.
Dynevor, 28, appeared in both of the first two seasons of the Netflix show as Daphne Bridgerton, but announced last January that she wouldn’t be coming back for the forthcoming third instalment – which lands later in two parts from 16 May.
In the first series, we saw Daphne facing pressure to follow in her parents’ footsteps by finding a true love match, with her older brother ruling out each and every one of her potential suitors.

She then meets bachelor Simon, Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), striking up a mutually beneficial deal as they pretend to get engaged – only for things to take a very steamy turn when sparks start to fly.
Dynevor also made an appearance in the second season, which focused on her older brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey).
But she went on to say that she would just be enjoying series three as a ‘viewer’, telling Screen Rant at the Sundance Film Festival that there weren’t any exciting moments coming up for Daphne anytime soon.

"Potentially in the future,” she teased.
“But in season three, I'm just excited to watch as a viewer."
One year on from those comments, Dynevor – who has just landed herself a BAFTA rising star award nomination after an incredible turn in saucy Netflix thriller Fair Play - has shared an update about where things stand.
Speaking to Tyla after being nominated for the BAFTA accolade alongside the likes of Saltburn star Jacob Elordi, the actor as asked if there was anything in the pipeline for her Bridgerton character.

"No, I have no plans to return,” she said.
“I mean, who knows if she will ever pop back up. But you know, the series is such that every character has their own season, and it just didn't feel right for Daphne to keep reappearing and telling every that everything was good - because obviously it's a show where everyone gets their happy ending.
“So no plans to return, but God, do I miss that cast! And yeah, I mean, I just had the best time of my life shooting season one. I really did.

"So I'll be watching, for sure."
Obviously, we'll definitely be tuning in too, and the good news is that we don't even have that long to wait until Bridgerton hits screens once again.
The new instalment will be released in two parts, with the first half launching on Netflix on 16 May, and the second on 13 June.
Filming started back in July, bringing in three newcomers: Harry Dankworth (James Phoon), Lord Debling (Sam Phillips) and Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis).
