Fans of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are questioning an ‘insane’ habit the reality TV stars practice due to abstaining from alcohol.
On September 6, an eight-part series documenting how a handful of Mormon social media influencers live premiered on Hulu and has since gone viral.
The series, produced by The Simple Life’s Jeff Jenkins, revolves around eight Mormon women who first found fame on social media.
Set months after Utah influencer Taylor Frankie Paul went on TikTok Live to admit she’d been involved in a ‘soft swinging’ scandal, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives documents how the women have dealt with the fallout and continue to navigate their professional and personal lives.

Alongside the ‘soft swinging’ allegations, some of the mothers admitted to undergoing ‘ketamine therapy’ to enhance their relationships.
Meanwhile, others claimed to inhale laughing gas before getting Botox shots - much to the outrage of fans.
Another confession made by the Mormons - who are taught not to drink alcohol due to it being inherently ‘evil’ - is that they regularly guzzle down ‘pimped out’ sodas.
“We don't drink alcohol or do drugs, so it's [soda] kind of our vice,” Demi Engemann revealed in episode five.

During the unscripted instalment, some of the fizzy drink-obsessed women took a trip to a popular drive-through bar called Swig.
Swig, founded in 2010, is known for its popular ‘dirty sodas’ that are made using coffee creamer, flavoured syrups or fruit juices.
As per Cosmopolitan, Demi's 'dirty soda' order consists of: sparkling water, sugar free coconut syrup, sugar free vanilla syrup, sugar free raspberry syrup, sugar free pineapple syrup and coconut cream. Wow.

During the episode, single momfluencer Layla Taylor also admitted she loved indulging in the drinks.
“Six out of the seven days of the week, I’m having at least one 44-ounce soda," she said in a piece-to-camera.
After watching the episode and hearing Layla’s confession, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives fans have come out in droves to debate the ‘dirty soda’ phenomenon.
“Mormons really be walking around with their 44 ounce soda in the early am like that’s a normal thing to do lol,” commented one user of X.

“I’m looking at the menu of the soda shop that they go to on the Mormon wives show and..... I’m disgusted wtf is happening at this here company,” detailed a second viewer.
Another watcher said: “Okay I finally started Mormon Wives and question, are these Momtok girls the same ones who make the insane flavored waters in their giant Stanleys????
"That’s basically what this soda shop they go to is so it has to be them right????"
