A few years back in 2021, the internet was left well and truly shocked after Whitney Leavitt took to social media to share an extremely controversial video of her son.
The influencer/reality TV star, who has since appeared in Hulu's new The Secret Lives of Mormon Lives series, posted a video dancing along to a viral sound while her young child was in intensive care. Unsurprisingly, the video received an avalanche of backlash online.
Three years on, Whitney has spoken out about the bizarre TikTok and revealed exactly what her 'intentions' were when posting it.
The video in question saw Whitney responding to a follower's question asking for an update about her son, Lee.

Whilst dancing, she issued an update with overlay text that read: "Lil Lee was taken in cause of low oxygen.
"He tested positive for RSV."
She concluded the clip writing: "Waiting for him to breathe better on his own now," with a red heart emoji.

Flash-forward a few years and Whitney is in the public eye once again after starring in the Hulu series.
She's since reflected on the ICU dance video scandal.
Speaking on the No Filter with Zack Peter podcast, the mum-of-three admitted she 'a thousand per cent' regretted ever making the TikTok.

"I wish I never made that video because of the outcome that came from it," she explained before the host, Zack Peter, asked: "Do you regret it just because of the outcome or do you regret it because you think that the intention maybe wasn't genuine?"
Whitney replied: "I one thousand per cent regret it because of the outcome because I know my intention going into it and it wasn't perceived that way.
"So I never would've posted it if I knew that's how it was going to be perceived."

She added: "Unfortunately I was in such a negative space already, postpartum, so I'm healing while my baby is not healing, that I wasn't thinking clearly."
The Secret Lives of Mormon Lives, which premiered on last week (6 September), goes behind the scenes in the daily lives of eight Mormon women from Utah.
