We finally enter the month of December in just a few days and it's simply a given during this period that we all cosy up on the sofa and rattle through our arsenal of Christmas movies.
From classics like Elf and Love Actually all the way through to more modern takes on the beloved genre - it's clear one film that never fails to get us in the festive mood is none other than The Holiday.
However, star Jude Law may have just ruined the ultimate rom-com flick for you forever after making a pretty bombshell filming admission.
Now, one of the reasons we're all obsessed with The Holiday (other than seeing Jude looking dreamy in a knitted jumper) is because of just how cosy the countryside cottage makes us feel.

Featuring wooden beams, an open fire, a deliciously shabby chic kitchen and a beautiful roll-top bath - it's clear Rosehill Cottage holds a big space in our hearts.
However, our dreams of one day rocking up to the charmingly imperfect residence won't be coming true anytime soon given that the cottage only ever existed on a Hollywood sound stage.
Jude, who starred in the 2006 box-office smash-hit alongside Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet, opened up about his time on set in an interview with BBC Radio on Sunday (24 November).

When asked if the cottage could be rented on Airbnb, the 51-year-old A-lister revealed: "That cottage doesn’t exist."
With the interviewers clearly shocked by the bombshell reveal, he added: "Oooh, yeah."
Speaking about director Nancy Meyers, Jude explained; "So the director, she’s a bit of a perfectionist.
"She toured that whole area and didn’t quite find the chocolate box cottage she’s looking for. So she just hired a field and drew it and had someone build it."

Sharing details about how filming at the cottage actually worked, The Talented Mr. Ripley actor said: "So here’s the funny thing, if you watch it … "We were shooting in the winter here. And every time I’d go in that door, we’d cut, and we shot the interiors in LA about three months later."
Unable to handle the truth behind the filming process, the interviewers jokingly asked him to stop: "Oh no, please stop! We don't want to hear anymore! You're ruining it! We can't bear it."
"Just burst the bubble," Jude quipped back. "Sorry!"

It's not all bad news, however, as the abode that inspired the cottage in the film, Honeysuckle Cottage in Holmbury St Mary, is now available on Airbnb!
